Loved this review Bailey. I also haven't found shedding an issue with my ELF brushes. It always amazes me that they can make good yet affordable brushes. They always seem worth more than they cost.

I just love ELF brushes! They were some of my very first brushes and have ended up still being my favorites despite having many other high end options. They are soft, don't shed and function incredibly well. I'm so excited about all the new brush styles they're adding! If anyone is even considering trying them, do it! You will not regret it, for their price and quality they are unbeatable.

i have both of these brushes & i love them both . i've been reaching for the contouring brush every time i do my makeup . it's amazing for $6 !!! can't wait 'til they're in stores so i can purchase a backup . really impressed with the new elf brushes & hope they release more . the quality for the price is awesome .

Love love love my contour brush from Elf. I had my eyes on the Mac brush but ummmmm no lol. I've been having that one since maybe March (?). LOVE IT! I just got the ultimate blending brush in the mail last week but haven't used it yet. I'm really excited now! Thanks for you reviews

Since these brushes are so good I went ahead and bought 2 of each even though I have other brushes that do the same thing including the F80 and RT. It just allows me to use clean brushes more often and at the price it was affordable. Even if you own the "higher end" version of either of these brushes I think anyone who uses brushes daily would really like these. I actually like the Elf buffing brush better than my Makeup Geek buffer since the Makeup Geek is the one that sheds and the Elf contour beats out my It Velvet Lux Contour for blending powder in the hollows of my cheeks. Great review!

My Real Techniques Buffing brush is wider and not nearly as dense as the new e.l.f. Blending Brush. I couldn't ever apply foundation without it looking streaky with the Real Techniques brush and the e.lf. brush does a great job. Thanks for the review. I was curious about how other people were feeling about these brushes.

Ahh I've been waiting for someone to review the e.l.f. Studio Ultimate Blending Brush! I'm def going to purchase that. I'll probably forgo the e.l.f. Studio Contouring Brush because it looks very similar to the Sonia Kashuk 15th anniversary contour brush that I have. Loved your review!!!

I have found the ELF buffing brush is identical to my IT cosmetics for Ulta brush (the 101 airbrush blurring foundation brush). The ulta one is $24 and I couldn't believe it was identical as far as the shape, bristles, and softness. The ulta one is heavier, but performs the exact same. :)

I've had my eye on this brush since it launched, I really want it!!! The one brush I was hoping you'd compare was the Nars Ita brush..... I just picked that up during the VIB sale and of course it was still a pricey little number!! I feel like the Elf option is thicker and more densely packed for sure. I was going to get the RT contour brush but nowwww I'm thinking the Elf option is the way to go! For $6, you can't go wrong either way!! 😘😘

I'd be curious to see how the buffing brush compares to my beloved Urban Decay Optical Blurring brush. It would be nice to have a backup for when it's dirty. That contour brush would be perfect for anyone who missed out on the Sonia Kashuk anniversary brushes. She had one identical to the ELF one.

Excellent review, just what I was looking for. I am going to get the elf contour brush because I got the Real Techniques one and the bristles are too tightly packed and I get a harsh contour line when using it with a powder contour shade. It also feels too rough on skin. I got fair skin with a lot of redness. I'm going to give the elf one a try. Love your reviews, always on point! :) I was hoping you would compare it to the Zoeva brush, I've been wanting that brush for like forever. :P

I have the MAC 163 contour brush that looks just like the Morphe contour brush. It was Limited Edition some time ago. Not sure if it's available through the MAC pro store.

I had the really small foundation blending brush from elf and I loved it but had to throw it away because I washed it and the little bristles kept falling out other than that great brush and very affordable

I've been using the elf contour brush after I apply liquid foundation but it applies patchy

i have the blending brush but do i need to wet the brush or can i use dry. thanks for replying 😊

I did want to ask you, I have been thinking of purchasing some Morphe brushes as I feel they're more within my budget (I cannot afford Sigma or MAC). I wanted to ask you, what are your recommendations as far as must have tools. I'm learning how to do my makeup and I feel like I could better my technique. Do you recommend Morphe Brushes? What are your thoughts?

The ELF Ultimate Blending Brush is also practically identical to the $24 Sephora MIneral Powder #45 brush. It's slightly less soft, but otherwise they're the same brush.

The contouring brush really made a difference!

I feel like elf has so many great products that are only offered online...all I can ever find in stores are their old items...I wish they would expand their in store selections!

I first heard about you from CoffeeBreakWithDannie when she reviewed the Colourpop eyeshadows. Since then I love following your videos. But the topmost reason I prefer you more compared to the other KZread beauty gurus is you always have those well-maintained nails. I don't care if you revealed only lately that they are only press on nails. What's important to me is you make sure your nails are presentable because they are also shown a lot in the videos aside from your whole face ;-)

Another EXACT, EXACT dead ringer for the ELF contour brush is the Sonia Kashuk contour brush. I have it and looking at this brush, there is no difference other than price. I think I paid $16 for the Sonia Kashuk

I splurged on the Sephora Contour brush about two weeks before the ELF Contour brush came out and I absolutely regret. Knowing I spent $36 when &6 would have fulfilled my beginner contour needs just hurts my heart.

Hmmm, the contouring one looks more to me like the exact dupe of Sephora multitasker powder brush at 24$.

I love my elf brushes so much more than my morphe ones. Elf brushes are so much softer.
