Beautiful colours Indeed... But you are 100% right. Besides... Couldn't they just put it as a colour option? Ducati makes some of the most beautiful bikes and most of the times paints them with the most uninspiring colours. I say enough with black, white and grey!

You know what's funny? In Brazil the regular bike is sold for 80k BRL, this Senna version was sold out in 24h for 190k BRL. Google those values in your currency...

If you spend that type of money over the SP then those front callipers should’ve been left bare metal with the ‘Brembo’ lettering in green, yellow, blue, green, yellow, blue...the devil’s in the detail especially at this price.

Ill pass and keep my 2011 monster 696 which has zero safety tech, and ive got down to about 142kg. Also is aircooled with a trellis frame. For the price theyre asking for this biked id rather get a street fighter v2 with extra hp and cheaper.

Modern monsters don't sound like monsters of old.

Indeed. I could pass the "no trellis frame" subject (with difficulty) but a Ducati engine without sound and feel... no way! Pitty though, because otherwise the bike is amazing in terms of set-up and performance.

Looks amazing but the price. It’s a nice tribute. Definitely a collectors bike.

A lot of people think Stoner is an overrated knob, not a great start if you want to flog bikes. Senna is universally loved 👍🏻

Absolutely. But I look at every single MotoGP rider with awe and respect, and it is very clear to me that what they do is only achievable to few. They are amazing athletes with amazing skills.

Some say that there are lots of MotoGP fans who like F1 and few F1 fans who follow MotoGP. This needs to change.

I used to see monsters all the time on the roads, I’ve only seen the (new) model once in the wild doesn’t seem to resonate with many riders compared to the old models.

love the new spongebob edition but how are the ducatiistas going to color coordinate with their red shirts ??? personally i’m holding out for the south park cartman edition. prob be out in 2 or 3 months 😊

I'd spend a fraction of the premium price to paint it in the color scheme of my own choosing (personally, in the paint livery of his Lotus 98T) and just stick with a regular Monster SP.

I tried the sp but didn't really like it too much.

Just like in a Hermés purse, you are not buying raw material here. You’re trying to buy the unrivaled match of Ducati and Senna brands. Trying… because all of them were already sold.

USed to watch F1 with my dad when i was a kid. When Ayrton Senna died, who was my favourite driver, i stopped watching. From that point i have only watched short bits of a race but never a full race. Still hurts me how he passed away too soon.

Beautiful. But stupid price. Paying for the ltd edition, and will be an investment for collectors and will sit in a garage and never be ridden. Boring

I could buy a single-coloured yellow standard Ducati Monster. Although the sound is still shit - even with the Termignioni exhausts on. Slightly better than my humble MT-07. I used to have an old 1997 Monster 600, and it was a pure joy every time you opened the throttle. Even with the stock exhaust! Has Ducati gone too far trying to build performance bikes and forgot how to make them enjoyable?

23.5k for a Monster is Monsterous. There's no way I'd pay that much over an SP version. As you can see from my avatar, I'm a big Ducati fan, but they're just getting WAY too expensive now.

Dam good looking bike, but again Ducati pricing out to lunch. Tell me again how Ducati doesn't have a cashflow problem with their entry level bikes (scrambler/Monster/Streetfighter V2). Unlike exotic cars they offer nothing different for the money other than the brand name.

Ducati are off their heads just cattering to people with more money than sence and not real bikers, I always thought I'd have a Ducati one day not now they are just taking the piss. Yamaha on the other hand have done it right with the XSR900 GP in looks and price well done.

Seriously overprioced bike, a real bummer is the cheap decal they use on the wheels, a proper yellow/green/bleu paitnjob may be more in place.....

Just another crap way to fleece customers. With all due respect to the great Senna, he may have rode Ducati's but he was an F1 driver. There's not much of a connection there and certainly not one worth that kind of money. This is like when MV has a Lewis Hamilton version of their bikes.
