Nostalgia is for the birds, folks...until you listen to Linda Ronstadt. She blows me away EVERY TIME I hear her--she puts everything into the performance, for every song. What a talent.

I love the way Linda pronounces "can't" in the line "But you only want the ones that you can't get..." She says is like "cain't", like an Appalachian bluegrass artist, or a Wild West saloon singer. She really relates to the emotion of this song on every level. She is a true gem, and an amazing talent...

I just love her voice. So many memories. Thank you for the music, Linda.

Makes me think of my first girl friend. RIP Connie love you miss you 40 years later.

This one performance blows every attempt at any song ever in the history of American Idol, The Voice, America's Got Talent, and every other "reality" show ever recorded. Nothing else even deserves to be on the same planet.

Before they became the Eagles, they started as Linda’s band musicians. Written by the brothers for her in 1973

Quite childis for Linda, only raise of voineet.

I despise the audio mix of this marvelous number. The mix between the instruments and her marvelous voice is awful. The piano comes and goes from the right channel, with the background sounds coming and going at the same time. The total effect is AWFUL.
