If you turn left @2:50 and go down the road and turn left there is the Silverton Campground which has bathrooms and hot showers on Leadville St. Slocan lake is great for swimming and one of the cleanest lakes. Also great fishing by boat or even just at the mouths of the creek going into the lake.

I flew my Paraglider from the Idaho Peak Mtn. elevation about 7000 ft and landed in the park you show elevation about 1700 ft. so in PG talk even a sled ride is almost a mile and take s 1/2 hr. of spectaluar scenery.

There is one in Nelson about 100km
