This is a very good point. I wouldn't be too surprised if a new 18 year olds first credit card being the Xbox card.

This takes me back to when there was a World of Warcraft credit card. Pretty much useless but it did bring up conversations when paying your bill.

All that is missing is a subscription to Mountain Dew and Doritos.

Gampass should be free for the first three months, then half off for all card holders.

Should have given game pass ultimate for free and the 2 codes should be part of the sub. That seems like a no brainer. I wonder if Barclays approached MS or the other way around?

Why couldn’t they just give 3% on dining & dining delivery? That would really show they want you to stay home, play games & eat

Everything didn’t look awful until the SUB. It’s particularly awful when mega banks like Chase gives you back more while Barclay’s/Microsoft out here paying themselves after YOU spend $7000 😂

I applied and got approved just to have it in my wallet because it will have my gamer tag.

Lame point multipliers, needs to have at least 8x on microsoft store, or 5x on both streaming and dining delivery to make it compiling.

Barclays is a bank that makes no sense to me. It’s like they are trying to come up with cards nobody wants, with the exception of the American Airlines card.

Makes the PS card look good😂

If it wasn’t with Barclays it would be more successful, their approval odds and credit profile pickiness doesn’t match the average gamer or credit profile.

Applied last fall when it was early access and was denied with around a 740 credit score. I thought the bonus was decent for little spend and yeah basically rejected which I thought was embarrassing for as crappy of a card as this

I think this card would benefit from at least a year of game pass. Either as a $1,000 sign up bonus or as a no cost sign up bonus for signing up. Mostly this is useless in my opinion, Barclays can make a much better approach. Maybe an AF of $95 and include a yearly game pass subscription. This does seem slightly predatory towards brand new credit card consumers, with subpar credit or less established financial habits.

I wouldn’t be getting the card or the PlayStation card

It makes more sense to just use Microsoft rewards as you csn get up to 20:1 per dollar spent just on Microsoft

Enjoy your 500 or less credit score with horrible interest rates man. Credit is not the enemy lack of knowledge how credit and finances work is. I have 150K available credit and consistently utilize 1% it’s called discipline and understanding of using credit as a tool.
