Located in the state of Saxony, the Sachsenring is one of eastern Germany's easternmost racing circuits, and a regular host of major events like DTM and the German motorcycle Grand Prix. The original Sachsenring circuit spanned more than five miles through public roads, but stopped hosting races in 1990. The modern layout began to take shape in the mid-1990s. After the unification of West and East Germany, a new permanent facility was constructed, and the track received multiple tweaks until settling into its current form in 2003.
The modern Sachsenring runs for 2.281 miles with 13 turns. The first, the Coca-Cola Kurve, sends drivers into a rapid-fire set of six round and sweeping corners. After Turn 6, the track begins to open up with more gradual curves until a tight final corner sends drivers back onto the frontstretch.

The Elevation Changes 😍 my home track
I would say its the most detailed track I ve ever seen in iRacing. So many small but visible details. Amazing. Continue your amzing work. The industrial area, the surroundings, even the speed control close to the track, everything is in this map.
A dream come true... my home track on iRacing. I hope there are nice online races!
Amazing! now go and scan Lausitzring and we'll have all the Rings in iRacing. Well except Norisring, but that's more of a Touring car track.

I remember playing this in TOCA 3 as part of (among other series) the DTM. Have loved it since.
Amazing, It looks exactly like it does in real life, I was there recently!

I wouldn't expect that in a million years... actually, it is the closest race track to me, not the home one tho :o Been there a couple of times, always thought it's a great (elevation} layout. Remember watching good ol' GT1 cars back in the day going thru that hairpin twisty insane infield bit, that was kinda WOW. I should pay a visit there again, and watch some DTM machinery... I guess, to refresh the memory a bit.

Looking so nice and accurate. Is it laser scanned (or is it a dumb question, cause every track in iRacing is scanned)? There are so many versions in Assetto Corsa, but one is less accurate than the other.

Got some Mosport and Road Atlanta feels about it, nice track up to F3 level and Gt3s👍🏼
That track has a very nice flow, kind of reminds me of the red bull ring.

iRacing needs to put new tracks on the schedules, I don't have Navarra or Sachsenring in any of my series schedule, how are people supposed to see value in them if they're not even featured in their debut season

they are preliminary schedule, the new track are likely to be added to some series before the final schedule

Wow! What a great track. The details are insane!
Weird track TBH. Mostly modulation of the throttle with a bit of trail braking is all you need :) Seems like not a single hard-breaking zone, or slow corners. I would say, it's like an oval when you're mostly on the throttle and it's precise modulation with a tad bit of breaking, but actually requires skill (people are going to destroy me for that comment :D)

Can you add thruxton to the game? Its a really good track and I would love to be able to race my home track on iracing. Maybe you could even add trucks so we can do the British Truck Racing Championship race there?

can we please get Portland International Raceway?... NASCAR Xfinity Series & ARCA raced there last weekend, so many rally events happen here, Formula E comes the 29th, and Indy is coming up too. Not sure why this track hasn't even been thought about, when so much happens here annually.

Yeah, that's cool and all, but could you maybe fix the safety rating system? I'm pretty fed up with starting races with 8x because the two guys in the row behind me on the safety car lap kept screwing around trying to warm up their tires like idiots.
I'm getting so jealous Iracing isn't on consoles!

Was designed by Tilke 😂 Mostly motorbike races are held here. Like MotoGP, DRM and so on… But also some GT3 Series Like DTM, GG Masters and Porsche Cup as well as Formula 4 Race here. Also back in the days the GT1 Championchip raced here.

Ban aggressive drivers. Hope more ranked stuff comes to next season. Because the amount of bad drivers in this game makes me not want to attempt anything in the paid content anymore.
