Honestly I think the consultant did amazing. Having a bride who’s taking the dress that day is always hard, even Randy and others struggle when a bride comes in asking for a dress then and there. She definitely understood the brides vision and I’m sure if they had more time they’d have found the perfect dress! They threw her into the deep end ❤️

Absolutely right. Jessica did great understanding the brides vision. Maybe Randy was a little rocky then too. The first dress was beautiful on her and he just said it was a good start.

I would have found Randy’s constant interruptions really annoying. He shouldn’t interfere unless she asked for his help. I believe she could have sold that first dress if they’d left her alone!

Poor girl! The bride was such a difficult appointment! I think she did amazingly with this appointment. The first dress and second dress were perfect for the bride. Very daunty

I am a nurse. We get at the most 30 hrs of orientation to a new workplace, and if we cry when overwhelmed, we are seen as weak. Also, people video is all the time and we are not allowed to say no to being filmed.

I was having an an anxiety attack just projecting Jessica's experience. I'm grateful when I was learning all my blunders were not shown on KZread!!

It's crazy to watch this clip of her first solo appointment! Jessica turns out to be one of the best consultants there; she picks awesome gowns that respect the budgets and fit the visions of the brides. Being new to any job is hard... Especially if you're being filmed!

She was absolutely awesome! She was so helpful and knowledgeable and the dresses she picked were perfect for the bride! I thought they fit exactly what the bride said she wanted. And I think she would have looked beautiful in either of the first two

Totally agree, this looked much like a set up.

As an experienced nurse, this gave me chills. They do the same thing to new nurses and we're definitely not selling dresses. Great job, Jessica, it will get better, and after all it's a dress.

Poor Jessica! I cannot handle having people hover over me. It gave me anxiety just watching her. I can't imagine having Randy, the Manager, and a camera crew watching me.

@@edgygyalHow am I salty? Everyone is making it seem like you need to be Einstein to do this job. You must have had a pampered life if you think this is the most difficult job or thing to do. I am a teacher which is challenging too but I overcome those challenges. I have parents and students in my face all the time which is way more difficult than this and I never complained like how you all are for this lady. I guess you have all been too pampered and have had too privileged of a life that even one scratch on your arm would be a big problem.

A job can be simple and still challenging, the two things are mutually exclusive. Good for you that you overcame things on your own but in a world where people dont have same IQ, critical abilities, physical and mental stamina, emotional strength, you can't expect them to handle things with same attitude. Be compassionate and then may be universe will return the favor.

Who gives a first-time consultant the job of finding a wedding dress for someone with only 3 weeks to the wedding and limited budget, AND traveling from Serbia?! I'd say those in charge were the ones who fumbled.

OMG...they did not set up Jessica for success with that first appointment! I think she did well, all things considered.

Talk about harsh. Jessica did great, its not her fault the bride only had 3 weeks and a limited budget. Her picks were what the bride described and she just didn't like it. But she did her job well, asked for backup when needed and listened to randy, management and the bride

First dress was glorious 😻

This is a very realistic way to show how all the consultants felt when they started (vets were beginners too at one point). They make mistakes and get overwhelmed, she did amazing and took criticism so well. 👏

There were some unavoidable problems Jessica had to deal with. I think she was doing great.

Wow poor Jessica they were way way TOO HARD on her 😢. Now I look at these bosses at kleinfeld differently…their mean!

Jessica did incredibly well, I liked the dresses she pulled, except that architectural nightmare, but that’s not her fault and why was dress that wasn’t supposed to be with the clearance samples even in the wrong storeroom? Plus, the bride waited till a few weeks before her destination wedding. I’m a florist & live in a very tourist town, on an island surrounded by 1,000 more islands, so I have had numerous experiences with wedding couples showing up the day of their wedding, wanting me to arrange and make their flowers. People are so inconsiderate of working peoples time, unfortunately. Poor Jessica should never have gotten that situation as her first appointment, wrong…

The first dress looked great on her!

The bride and her mother are so patient and lovely, and the new consultant is not so bad do no overreact.

Would the appointment taken so long if there hadn't been all those interruptions? I mean WOW! The consultant had it under control and was doing a pretty good job with the situation regarding time and stock. It would've taken 3 dresses tops for this btb constraints and wants. She had it with the first 2 dresses.

It was her first time…I think she’s going to be great! She has a lovely way about her and is easy to talk with. She was spot on with those first two dresses.

Jessica handled that like a rock star.

Jessica did great! Under pressure and kept her cool, presenting very good choices to the bride- come- lately!

the bride didn't help coming in 3 weeks before her wedding. that added so much more stress on Jessica. she should have had her dress picked out and ready months ago!

I was stressed for Jessica.

They threw her in the deep end. Very first appointment, urgent puchase/ off rack, complicated avant garde dress, back to back appointment, leading consultant/ designer repeatedly coming in and out, camera crew and everyone watching and televised to show her mistakes?!? Oof!

Jessica did a good job, the first dress was the winner!

Amazing how Jessica, despite running into some challenging situations, managed to remain professional, friendly and upbeat!! She was also so bright in knowing when she had to seek help!! She's going to be a star consultant!! More time should have been allowed for this appointment so the bride and the consultant did not have to be under that kind of time pressure. Why were the appointments booked so close together?

i think they were pretty hard on Jessica. if she was my consultant i’d be fine with her. i understand the goal is to make a sale, but sometimes that just won’t happen and that’s okay

The consultant actually did understand the bride's vision very well. It is hard when bride comes 5 to 12. My personal favorite on Mirjana was the 1st dress. :) Randy was respectful, the teammates kind of forgot that they have been new there once too.....and we have definitely seen the more unusual appointments in this series. Like when the brides comes and says - my budget is 3k and the consultants bring 4,7 k dresses :). Well it is a show after all. The dresses are definitelly very pretty, they should highlightingmore of other than Panina's collection in general. Girls love this kind of program.

Jessica did great, abd rhe most impressing part is the complete lack of ego is a rare quality, she had zero problem saying " I need help" i agree this is "for a first time" but she did great for a first time

Right?? Considering it's an old episode whrn all the dresses in klienfield looked same either penina ballgowns or frilly fishtails, she found something different, fashion forward and in her price range

This video makes me so sad for Jessica, she is trying her best and they’re highlighting all her mistakes. Also when she has prior experience as a bridal consultant, she shouldn’t have to shadow for 10 weeks until she gets her first solo appt. I really respected Kleinfeld until I saw this.

I've been in Jessica's shoes before. You're new, you want to make a good impression on your manager, you want to please the client. All that pressure. Then when things start to go off the rails, your nerves get the better of you. It's tough being new. She did the best that she could all things considered.

We’ve ALL been new on a job and had a Murphy’s Law sort of day. She did a great job of finding dresses that were in the realm of what the bride asked for. She esp did great considering most of us don’t have our first day filmed.

No. As always, his opinions were spot on. Excellent guidance -- i.e., architectural dress was not right on her; sexy dress was way too tight. He knew immediately because he has an experienced eye. And since she was in a rush, his quick assessments were helpful.

She did great, I can’t imagine the pressure of having your first day filmed haha

The brides fault leaving looking for her dress last minute so dumb.

Poor Jessica! You'd think that, on her first day being on her own, they wouldn't book her clients so closely back-to-back. Give her a second to catch her breath. Geez!! I thought she pulled some really good dresses, although I have NO clue how that one was actually supposed to be arranged. The first one was awesome! In budget, fit her perfectly, looked beautiful on. The bride seemed to like it. Wish she'd have picked that one; it wouldn't been amazing if she chose the very first gown Jessica showed her on her very first day on her own.

They really set this up for the drama. There was no need to give Jessica a client that was in that much of a rush. She did a great job though ❤

I don't like this narrative the show made regarding Jessica. They focused so much on the mistakes and had no commentary on the things she got right. The entire video has a negative vibe.
