A couple of the questions I asked throughout the video were if you have a faux tree - how long have you had it? I prefer them not to be prelit because I just don't think they last long enough!

I totally agree with you about not liking pre-lit trees. The idea of getting rid of a tree just because the lights have stopped working is horribly wasteful. Like you, we had the same tree all of my growing up years.

Now I know!! Thank you! My parents got it a long time ago for their small shop, and when they sold the shop they gave it to my husband and I for our first tree ❤️

I love this time of year! I started decorating my bedroom last year. ❤️🎄☃️ I've never seen a tree like that before. We have artificial trees, we got a new one last year. We usually keep it for a few years.

Hi Shelby Marybeth we got to get our trees up I’m getting there lol we have to pull out all our decorations from the storage closet we have under our stairs,I too like traditional decor it’s usually a Angel 👼🏼 or a Star 🌟 on top of our trees yes ribbon on our trees also we have two trees one for the living room one for the family room you did a beautiful job you certainly have got me motivated to start getting the Christmas decorations out have a great week ❤

Hey Wendy! The star and angel definitely don't seem as popular anymore, but I couldn't ever use anything else! I'm excited for you to bring your decor out! I have the bedroom tree up, but I think I'm going to wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the main living room tree. ❤️😄😊

They don’t make faux trees like they used to. The first one we had lasted for almost 15 years, bought another one and it basically fell apart. Threw it out last year. Great video❤❤

Your tree looks awesome, I decorate our bedroom very minimally. I bought a artificial tree for this Christmas we’ve always had a real tree but we’re getting older so I think artificial will be easier. I’m excited to see it decorated . Have a great week 🎄

You can always add lights to a pre-lit tree if they go out even if you just want more lights. I like the pre-lit trees you usually get several years out of them before having to add some. While I like red for Christmas, I think that neutral decor for a room that has dark blue walls would be prettier, by that I mean, cream, white, and gold. Try it some year and see what you think. The red, white and blue give it a patriotic vibe, imo.

Looks beautiful! We have an artificial tree now that we put up that is not pre-lit and I agree to preferring that also. We have had this tree for at least 10 years so far. I had artificial ones in my house when I was growing up also and I believe we had the same one the whole time as far as I can remember. So if it did change at some point, it must have been when I was pretty young. I believe my parents had that tree until they downsized houses 5 years ago, so they had it a good 40 some years!

Weve had r artificial tree for 8 years now still goin strong lol i dont put the back branches on so i can push it as far back as i can otherwise it wu be in the middle ov the room lol annin too i put a light up star that belonged to my dad he passed away 7 years ago so i call it my dads star 🌟 love your bedroom it looks christmasy an cosy ❤

My fiance won’t let me decorate for Christmas this early lol it’s only the 6th of November lol but really wanna decorate lol what a lovely video ❤❤

Where I live we decorate the tree a day before Christmas. I am trying to push it to the weekend before for my family. :D So I am enjoying your videos very much. :-) But we have a "real" tree, so it last only 2-3 weeks being pretty so we wouldn't be able to decorate it much sooner. Artificial trees are not very common.

I've never had a real tree before, but one year I'd love to try it! They are so expensive down here in Florida because they have to be shipped. Definitely try to get them to do the weekend before!! 🎄❤️

We keepChristmas very minimal their only two of us with a dog. No decor in the bedroom. I don’t like a lot of clutter
