Omgosh! WoW! I have chicks as pets and I was so excited when I saw the miniature chick coop

I had one built as well, mine is 6x10 and has the nesting boxes that are accessible from the outside, large man door and smaller chicken door. We are a little north of you in Kentucky and have had it for about five years. The exterior material does start to rot and deteriorate after a few years,. We have repainted it twice to try to keep a moisture barrier, but just be prepared for that to happen. Ours is on blocks as well. We cut stall mats to fit on the floor and that has helped to preserve the floor. Yours seems like it may have better cross-ventilation than mine does, mine has two windows on one side and it gets super hot in there in the spring/summer.

Yes i made sure i could open both windows and have two vents at the top. I also dont plan on having more than 7 chickens lol so that should help. ❤️

dumor is actually a lower end food, its tscs brand. a lot of people feed it but ive seen in many groups to stay away. for ducks, mazuri waterfowl is preferred amongst a lot of keepers

I may try that one then! I saw Mazuri after i had got that one. These ducks were not planned so i very much just grabbed a food quickly lol

Lori, how do you feel about people like Nick Bingo going out and catching moray eels and sharks for his 3000 gallon saltwater pool pond? Even if he checks with his local Florida Fish and Wildlife commission, it still does not make it right for him to be removing marine wildlife and bringing it home to his aquarium or pool pond. He even caught a skate once and it died within 24 hours. He had said it was due to the stress and 2 hour drive but he appeared to shrug it off. Could you do a reaction video to Nick Bingo’s videos?

Amazon has roosting nest pads that are the perfect shape and they hold together and up amazing! You can even get them on subscription. If you lookup Stephanie Moratto, she has them listed in her description or Amazon favorites. She recently moved to a bigger property and had to get a Donkey because they have a fox problem 😢 She absolutely loves her chickens and would do anything for them! Congratulations on the new barn! Hopefully lumber prices will start to come down as more people are vaccinated and can get back to work. Your barn is super cute 🥰

I dont have the chickens yet! Lol but the ducks just showed up, still would love a bird but timing is everything
