I love how in the books they’re like “These kids are LEANOR’S bastards!” Because Leanor is presumed dead and Corlys is still very much alive and was 100% married when he fathered these children, so it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out. Like even the historians were like “Girl bye, we know what Laenor was into and it wasn’t women” and Rhaenys is just like glaring at Corlys so hard when these beautiful, dark children show up because even as an adult, Leanor wasn’t half so melanated as these young lads.😂 One thing I really liked about season one was that there’s actually a ton of humor on rewatch, and this is one of those episodes that I think will stray toward awkward and a little lighthearted; if for no other reason than to balance out, well, Blood and Cheese, and twin brothers fighting each other to the death for opposites sides of a war and all that😅

@@zalduna yeah and? This is a show based on an in-universe biased history book. Also in the books, Rhaenys has black hair from her Baratheon genes, but in the show obviously there’s going to be incongruencies in the story make things more visually obvious by having them changed. This entire show would be blond/silver haired white people with names that sound the same or sometimes literally are the same-there is a Green Aegon, and a Black Aegon, for example-otherwise and actually would have made things a lot more confusing to follow. I think making Corlys black was a smart move because the genetic obviousness of the heir to the throne’s children’s’ illegitimacy is undeniable. They don’t resemble Leanor in anyway, although all the say about Leanor in the books was that he had silver hair hair and an aquiline nose. Which he does in the show.

Says who? Literally nobody 😂. Criston Cole is by far the best fighting the 7 kingdoms. Cregans badass don't get me wrong but the book clearly describes Criston as being the best. That's why the riverlords don't want to 5v1 him because he'll probably beat all 5 of them at once

Well, their mother had claimed them(him and his brother Alyn) to be Laenor's bastards. In the books Rhaenyra's sons are only rumored to be bastards. But the show(faouring the greens as usual) practically confirmed it. So they made them to be corly's bastards which makes no sense as no Targaeryan had been married into the Velaryons since Aegon the Conqueror so Corly's sons can't be dragonriders.

If I remember correctly he became the head of the house Stark at the age of 13 or 14 after his father died, so yes, he would be young at this point. Something like 21 or 22 at the time where the show's at

Is Jeyne Arryn really a cousin of Rhaenyra? Aemma Arryns father had other kids before marrying Daella Targaryen and they had Aemma. Aemma then married Viserys. Don't think Jenye and Rhaenyra are blood cousins but technically through marriage yes.

He could have died in the interim, between his departure & the start of the war- I'm assuming either she & Daemon will realise he's since passed when Addam claims the dragon -- or, word will come of his passing, & _that_ helps inspire the offer to the Dragonseeds. Given one of Laenor's parents actually survives the war- sorry, can't really avoid that spoiler (& atm I can't recall the time between the death & the 'seeds' claiming- but the war's done in about 3 years; also, neither is/ appears to be heading to senility or dementia- so it's not like they'll have forgotten what their son looks like- & not nearly enough time could have passed for his appearance to have dramatically altered enough to be a disguise on its' own). It seems pretty bad to make them realise you faked your death- for *years* Just my thoughts...

@@MoJones9919 Thank you, I'm reassured; I preemptively apologised, as there was a person that just railed against me in a comments section last year, when I quoted something to do with Rhaenys- it had appeared in the GoT special features history section, though- so their animosity was a little bit of a shock. But I do understand your point- however: the Velaryons *have* intermarried with the Targaryens for decades- the better part of a century by this time - so I do wonder how they're going to address the situation...

He is by the most popular green member in the book. Ofc they cut him off the show because the show is biased! Had the show given Haelena more time and also included Daeron, the greens would be much more popular. They also made Aegon an absolute raping loser. In the book, he's brave, cunning and also a fierce dragon rider. We didn't even see him with his dragon in season 1, where Rhaenyra had like at least 5 really good scenes with her dragon, in comparison. Aegon's dragon is also called the most beautiful of all dragons in the history of house Targaeryn, but no........ not in the show apparently. They will be showing him this season, but too little too late. Also for Daeron, there are no leaks, no rumors of casting! I hardly doubt that they'll be introducing him this season... they didn't even mention him in season 1

It did exactly the opposite with Rhaenyra. That is biased as hell. Some of her bad qualities were shrugged off whereas Aegon's were highlighted. Do not argue with this. You know you can't.
