That’s why I firmly believe Witcher 4 will have a character called “Letalis of Yutub” who’s a historian that excels at exploiting whatever he chooses to exploit

This would also see people collecting item sets that are pretty but useless stats-wise. After all, the Feline and Manticore sets are so much better than everything else, there is almost no reason to use any other items, no matter how much better looking the are.

I used a mod to give all horse armor the same stats as the best one, so I could use the Nilfgard one. Transmogs would be a great idea indeed.

This is pretty confusing. Sure, it's a glitch/exploit, but it's a *good* one (at least the sword part), which in itself is very rare. Don't see why they even think that something like this needs to be fixed, especially when there are more important issues which are yet to be completely fixed.

@@DerekPaksa I assume you are not a native English speaker so I will try to explain it to you why, I might have a difficulty with explaining it myself so bear with me. Even though both the words "console command" and "videogame console" both have the word console, they have different meanings and do not correlate with each other. Videogame consoles (like XBOX, PlayStation etc.) are just small electronic devices used for playing video games, but console commands is a panel which has a set of controls that can be used in games to add or change game states. I believe console commands are first added and used by developers of the game and the official testers of the game to test the game before release and the console shows up with a panel where they can write in commands like "additem('Name of item here')" to add items or even commands like "addfact('quest code here')" to automatically finish quests in game without having to actually do them just so they can save time and test bugs in following quests or to see if additional dialogues can be unlocked if quests are done in a certain order. All of the developers and testers of the game do their work on a PC or a computer using keyboard and mouse. For videogame console releases, they disable the console command because they usually feel like it is not needed since the console command is mostly for keyboards since you have to type a lot but obviously most videogame console players don't use a keyboard, they use a controller which is good for gaming but bad for typing long commands. It is a bit ironic that videogame consoles don't have command consoles even though they have the same word ("console") but they are kind of different things and console commands are mostly for PC's and game developers but it can also be used by normal players too to get cool stuff or to de-bug missions if they happened to be a little bit bugged. It can also be used to get some missions that were cut from the game because the developers thought it didn't make sense for them to be there. I hope that helps and I wish you a lovely day/night! =D

I hate CDPR's approach to "fixing" harmless bugs like this, they did this with cyberpunk too where they patched out fun stuff for no apparent reason, Ex. being able to cancel out gravity with rebecca's shotgun or being able to store a heavy machine gun in your car to take it anywhere with you (that one doesn't even make sense at all to patch out from an immersion point of view but oh well, lol) games this big will never be completely exploit free, and these games have way more pressing issues than these widely celebrated bugs

@@ChillYeti Does depend on the target of the improvement. If its for the fans/player base, then it could be classed as an improvement. But the insertion of paid content as in the case of the Assassins Creed series could also be classed as an improvement too, just spun a different way, so instead of saying "we're handicapping your game until you buy this mega-sword", the statement becomes "improve your game ten-fold with this mega-sword"; "(whilst also lining our pockets and hurting your game in the process)". I'm not saying that CDPR are doing this btw, just clarifying that improvements/enhancements don't always need to target the player / player's experience

i honestly find it pathetic and not a great sign for where cdpr is headed

While I get that they are trying to prevent corrupting saves and such it does seem kinda annoying that they are removing ways to get out of bounds. One I loved to do was at vizima where you could clip right through a specific wall in the courtyard which now unfortunately has collision. This was in basegame and first one or two patches on nextgen. Unsure if 4.01 or 4.00 introduced it.

I noticed a bug where you can enter through locked doors like a ghost in Oxenfurt hovels next to the river. This never happened to me before. And after reloading the game it fixes itself.

I suppose selling Ciri won't go as smoothly as it once did..... thank you, xLetalis.

Heh, I'm at the point of the story, where Triss helped mages escape. After that, near the Southern Gate of Novigrad you can see an NPC being interrogated by a guard, asking what he brings into the city. Then he started running, and two guards followed him, I followed too. He then drew his weapon and started fighting one guard, I tried to help, but couldn't attack... but it seems I have scared away the second guard somehow. And this NPC killed the guard and walked away :) interesting...

just in case someone doesn't know, Ciri witcher silver sword (the one you get in the ending) is "q505 crafted sword", so additem('q505 crafted sword')

Still possible on Xbox One (old gen) - can still horse glitch through the gate with Ciri too - though more difficult with Geralt to get back into the prison (Tossaint) but can walk through the invisible wall as long as you you’re going backwards (rotate the camera to be partially behind the gate and you can still glitch back in). With cross platform saves available - should be able to get Ciri’s Sword into Geralt’s Inventory.

They should allow us a legitimate copy of Zirael, or at least an imitation that can be obtained or crafted through a witcher gear diagram; make it a unique loot at the tower in Undvik. Not gonna lie, I want to display that sword in Corvo Bianco, tough I am not sure what to pair it with since sword stands in CB all come in pairs.

As a PS4 player,I had many issues ever since the next gen update regarding corrupt data errors which continued at patch 4.01 too.I did some poking around on the internet and found a way to fix it so no problems now.Amazing content,keep it up!

These are the kinds of things that should've been fixed when the game came out, but it should not be fixed after release. It's not really game breaking and is just a funny thing to do on another playthrough. I've not played much of the "next gen update" because of the noticeable drop in performance and it breaking some mods. Fixes like these are such non-issues to me and are not worth the change in game version.

Xletalis! For the secret in the abondoned tower in blood and wine, with that strange symbol and the portals. I dont know if it is the same symbol but there is an item called ”silver lamen” looks like a stone medallion, it can be found in the same house as the professor who researched gaunter o dimm.

If they can make changes and add new quests, give us more content till the new games come out. Wouldn't be a bad idea, I'd buy it even

This is likely to be the issue of the RED engine as it's not friendly to MOD. Witcher 3's mod support is, weird, not very well documented, difficult to properly inheritance in programming aspect (And bethesda's is just amazing!). Witcher 4 is gonna change to UE, don't know if things gonna change.

This got me thinking, have they fixed the exploit with the two boats in Blood and Wine where you can travel to the Unseen Elder's inverted lair and loot the Hen Gaidth set even if you chose to take Syanna to Detlaff?

Hey xLetalis, I found a really great easy console-achievable boundary exploit which lets you free roam the entirety of Touissant during the vampire invasion! There are some really cool finds and environmental things there too! When you’re playing in the fairytale zone, just whistle for roach at the shimmer border surrounding the area, then you can mount her from the other side, and ride off towards Touissant which is 3000M away to the west. You have the Duchess’s sister and unicorn roach with you the entire time! I went on a massive adventure and took loads of screenshots to share on the subreddit, so I’d love to know if you can do anything creative with it or make any interesting discoveries! There are no invisible walls or kill triggers anywhere, and all the terrain is fully mapped out and traversable!

I've had about 40 crashes on DX11 and DX12 combined around 15 of them after the 4.01 update

i don't know if other people have the same issue, but on my xbox one, the next gen update didn't make the option to change de camera mode. i got the new quest and armors, but on the menu , the option to change to cinematic mode literally doesn't show :(

So we exploited a Novigrad mission and they fixed it, we then moved to a different one in the same area, and they fixed it again. Looks like we are gonna have to do it from the Bloody Baron flashbacks now lol

They also blocked the wall in Vizima palace that allowed you to escape the map . I wish they would put as much attention into fixing bugs as they do with these blocks . Same with Cyberpunk .

Hex xLetalis, first off: Great videa as always! Second: When I reinstalled and replayed tw3 yesterday, i noticed something in white orchard: At the Former Mansion (where the nilfgaardians main camp is now located at that point in time), when you enter it and go straight to the left, the 2nd door (one made from metal bars) can't be opened. However, there is a dead body and some loot (if i remember correctly just some crafting material) behind it and if you parkour a little bit to the right of the door, you can reach that space and from the corpse you can loot the key to open the door and get out. My question is: Whose body is it, is there anything related to the plot/history of the mansion, perhaps its the mentioned ealdorman in the tavern? And if so: why is it behind the locked door yet possessing the key? If he was ended by the Nilfgaardians, you'd imagine them to put his corpse somewhere else or unalive him somewhere public as a statement. And they definitely would not leave it there, as they are afraid of causing disease to spread (which you can read on a note after you picked all the other notes, including the side quest and contract, and returning to it at a later date, f.e. after fighting the griffin)

On PS4 we don’t get the Nilfgaardian Helmet in the Respite Camp, it’s just not there, the new switches that lead to the immortal wraiths again not there and I don’t know if it’s just my console, as it is getting on in age, seems to crash a great deal more than it ever did before the update. Just thought you’d like to know, mate. I really wanted that helmet too(original version not Netflix).

Yeah, im on next gen Series X and I lost my main save file with the lates patch where i hunted down and crafted all the grandmaster armor so that is a real sadness

I have missing ground textures in dx12 on pc. Tried reinstalling removing mods and so on. It only works ondx11 but is grainy.

Hey, don’t know how to officially submit a little thing I noticed, but in Velen, with the new quest in the Devils Pit, there’s a reference / difference in the way Reinald speaks to you when you’re fighting him and he’s infected by the Red Miasmal. If you completed Towerful of Mice, and were fooled by the Pesta and let her free, he mentions it, saying that it won’t be the first thing you let free. I ended up finding this on a new playthrough, and the “good” ending where you figure out how to get rid of the Pesta is bugged since you can’t talk to Keira, and then fought the Red Miasmal a little later.

I play it on PS4, ever since 4.00 update. I've had more crashes than I can count, time delays 15-30 seconds for dialogue or cutscenes start, a few fps so low it crashed or had to restart, menu & inventory glitches, some merchants not showing me their stock once I ask. It's still a fun game tho

I still playing on Ps4 with next gen update, I experience alot of those issues that you said. Missing save file and performance issues during gameplay.

I started my second play-through of the game now (after few years), and I was happy that I will get the Ciri's sword - after watching your previous videos. What a disappointment, they released the update just before me getting the scene when I could get it. Really miss old days when the game was on CD/DVD with no online updates, and if you decided to install the patch you had to do it manually. Pepperridge ridge farm remembmers when developers left such things intentionally as a easter eggs, not robbing players out of joy of getting rare items/events in the OFFLINE game. We should get achievement for getting Ciri's sword, not be punished for that.

I just hope that they never stop you making those outro songs.

I noticed alot of game companies updating older games to stop modders (especially bethesda). In steam you can set up alot of games to play locked status or beta status of the game or you can use the nexus mod vortex launcher and set game to only update on launch but only use vortex to launch the game. Now the game will never update and you can play and mod to your hearts content.

This is not an online game. My character being overpowered or gamebreaking doesent fuck with anybody elses experiance. Such a shame companies do not give 2 shits about that.

I had completed everything, except treasure hunts in skellige, before starting with toussaint part. Now after finishing up with toussaint, i cannot travel back to any other area. The game crashes everytime after the 4.01 version.

Honestly, I still think that CDPR should have created a mode with Ciri for The Witcher Complete Edition. Just the possibily to run around, killing some normal monsters and things like that, for those who really like her.

funnily enough, there's a mod that redesigns ciri's sword to look like the book's description and the same look is given to the cat steel sword.

Mine always crashes when I'm in the blacksmith menu too long or my inventory box. Sent so many crash reports. Plus I never got the pleasure of playing before the updates, but that explains why Ciri kept on dying by juniors place with seemingly little falls. I said to myself "oh they don't want me going over there"

Cdpr really need to sort out their priorities

I noticed when playing Gwent I had two spy cards in my deck (Prince Stennis & Thaler) and their cards numbers were double what they are supposed to be. 10 & 2 accordingly. I haven't had three spy cards yet so can't confirm if the numbers triple instead. Thought this was v interesting

Hey I'm having an issue with my witcher 3 next gen saves on ps5 and wondering if anyone else has this problem. As you know you have 8 save files. Problem i have is whenever I save/overwrite my most recent save game, my oldest save gets deleted and I end up with 7 saves and an empty slot. Happens everytime.

sorry guys, has anyone happened that some manual saves have disappeared? because it happened to me that when I went to create a new manual save, the two older ones started appearing in a messy cronological order in the save list, and then just disappeared. Have I lost them permanently? A thousand thanks

That "hunt or be hunted" remix was something ...

I play on PS4 and the most recent patch erased all of my old saves that were played prior to the update. Now I do have them saved on a flash drive, but I haven't tried to put them back on the system yet. It's pretty funny that they're spending so much time trying to erase all of these glitches with Ciri.

Any idea if the menu glitch is fixed on ps5? Geralt would become a flickering mess in the equipment menu.

Have you tried duplicating it? Similar to the kaer morhen sword that continously spawns after looting and loading a save

I have the game on PS4 and the update has not taken place on mine. Meaning,while the system did update and the file shows the newer version. I can not access the two new armor sets. The game is still playing as if it is the old version. i have reset and cleared evry save that i had previously stored started from scratch 4 different times and it still does not recognize{game play that is} the new version. So playing on PS4 even though the file shows as the new version it does not play that way. I was excited about the 4.0 patch but i do not think PS4 systems recognize it.

I was able to get a couple days ago by running with the horse a the gate during breakneck speed on the latest version but could be because I was on ps4

I can't believe you sold Ciri in the ballsack armour.

I have the new Xbox series s console and new next Gen witcher 3. I've had a few crashes in my game, specifically the thing I notice the most; the NPCs clothing, while in conversation with them, will not fully load. For example, if they have ruffle details on their shirt or something of the sort, it looks distorted, and with no detail at all, very rough. Is anyone else having this issue?

Still no wolf armour fix for PS4. I haven't played much recently, but that was the first thing I tried after the update. Will have to grab it on a new save I guess eventually.

I miss the old CDPR. They spent more effort fixing fun exploits than fixing the performance

As much as I'd like to see actually usable RT without visual glitches and shadow pop-ins, it's a standard thing to see that the developers fix and remove potential exploits. If you're on PC, there are always console commands or mods anyway. Making pointless "old CDPR good" remarks misses the mark and more importantly isn't grounded in reality, a good portion of the devs and higher-ups have remained the same.

Playing on XBOX One and some of the new content isn't working. The switches for the new area and immortal wraits never appears and also the Top Notch Swords guy doesn't have the two new swords. As of the 4.0 update I was able to escape out of the window with Ciri but that was about a week ago and I haven't checked to see if they fixed it since.

For me, playing on PS5, the game crashed multiple times in skellige, while doing the morkvarg mission, when you get to the sisters that give you the mission.

About crashes. ReValidate your game data in GoG / Steam etc.

My question is! Why are they going through great lengths to prevent you from getting Ciri's sword. It takes extra effort for null really, unless they want you to find the true way in the game to get Ciri's sword. Wonder if they have put it in game somewhere she has been. Or a hidden quest no one has found. For instance in the witcher ending of the game. Ciri get a new sword from Geralt but I never noticed before. Does she have her sword with her. She always has it on her back and her cloak doesn't show that it's hidden underneath the cloak I think anyway.
