I like glossy tires. But agree on satin finishes. Didnt know u can cover over other ppf.

I think it depends on the car itself and the paint color. Some cars look good with gloss and others look good with matte.

Always prefer gloss paint finish and on my car mid glossy tires, for customers here most of them like them glossy and few non glossy, just like on my vehicle.

No ass pain here! 😁. I have matte black film on my Daytona 392 and the matte detail spray from Mckees works great!

@@zonapainter Taking care of matte wraps isn't all that different than taking care of a matte painted car. The surface needs to be cleaned and you don't want to add a shine. It's not difficult or meticulous, it's just a frequent car wash routine and a particular set of products.

@@tundrawhisperer4821 you obviously don't know what matte ppf is. The top side is the same as regular ppf. Cleaning and maintaining it is no different than a gloss finish.

i have the same car but in riverside blue. I like the matte surfaces on the car. I just put ACS ZL1 sideskirts on in the 1LE satin color

It’s a pain and a 50\50 from what I was told from the place around my area that does high end vehicles and does great work. I had the stealth PPF on my black wrapped hood on the 2ss 1Le after two weeks still had a few bubbles on it that didn’t go away. We talked and they said they could remove it but because the glue sticks to the wrap it could leave residue on the wrap and the cleaner to remove the glue would put a shine on the wrap. I still decided to have it removed and unfortunately there was a lot of glue that stuck to the wrap and actually tore or pulled some of the factory wrap up. We pulled the factory wrap off and re wrapped it with a better wrap and then ceramic coated it. Long story short you may have issues taking the PPF off so be ready to have your good re-wrapped if your a perfectionist in detail.
