NEW CALLAWAY EPIC DRIVERS 2021 | SPEED, MAX and MAX LS
Спорт
New CALLAWAY EPIC DRIVERS 2021 | Speed Max and Max LS. Mark Crossfield reviews new driver release from Callaway Golf, the new Callaway Epic Drivers 2021. Callaway Golf have brought out three heads for their new Epic 2021 range; Epic Speed Driver, Epic Max Driver and Epix Max LS Driver. Will the new driver releases from Callaway Golf change your game and help you hit longer golf drives and hit more fairways. Want an easy to hit driver, Mark Crossfield is testing all three driver heads from the Callaway Epic 21 Driver range to see how they perform and find out which will suit each type of golfer. With new A.I.-designed Flash Face to optimise the new Jailbreak Speed Frame and Callaway's advanced aerodynamic head construction, will Mark see an increase in ball speed and driver carry. The Epic Max and Epic Max LS both have the sliding rear weight at the back of the new driver releases, however the Epic Speed does not. These sliding weights allow golfers the adjustability to promote the ball flight that they want to play, do you change the weight position in your driver heads? Make sure you leave a comment in the comments section down below and also sign up to the MyGolfGains "become a tester" if you want to be in with a chance of testing out Callaway Golf latest golf ball release.

Can we just get a shout out to Mark going from 262 to regularly carrying the ball 280. massive gains bruh!
Easily the best and most honest KZread content! Keep it up brah! 🙏
My evenings are always a little duller when I haven’t got one of your videos to watch! Great content, brilliantly delivered!
Love the way you test clubs, can always count on honest true data from your channel. Thanks Mark!
Great review as always! I love your new club reviews because you always show the models and all the parts of the club heads. This to me is very cool! I know I’m not the only one that wonders what the inside of all my club heads look like!
It's always worth hanging around to watch Mark hit 'just one more' 💪
Thanks you for the latest reviews , your always on top of the new products I never have to wait!! Let alone the honest opinion and tech
Great job Mark, all hail the golf guru, callaway will always have a special place in my heart. Keep up the good work. God bless you sir
Just one more! Another great review, totally enjoy your reviews Mark I bet coach is drooling looking at those bad boys 😆. Great information to go to the fitter with. Going to AZ next week where it’s warm to get in a few rounds, can always use golf balls, wink wink, I have tested two versions of Titliest pro v’s in the past always fun trying the new stuff keep up the good work!
Great review. You clearly show the product and talk. About all thr important things for every handicap. Nice.
Great review, Mark. I think this shows that being fit for the driver will definitely be of benefit to get a person into the right club.
Wow I love the way you test clubs! 6 years of following you and never disappointed...

100 %. Watched him since he started, no bs, just honest good reviews and good info.
Very excited about the Max model. I struggle to keep 2k spin on my driver so seeing a head that can really produce some spin and has adjustable weight is very exciting to see! The original Epic was so good I don't mind going back to the name. Love the carbon and the sound.
Crossfield said " We gotta stay level or go up or the camera goes off" then the subscribe logo and another suggested video pops up letting us all know it is the last shot. Good stuff Mr Crossfield keep the content coming.
I tested this driver at my local golf shop. I fell in love. My club head speed hit 116 which is my personal best and the dispersion was the best of all the ones I've tried. But I'm still gotta try the G425 first before I decide.
Honest reviews no fluff great channel for honest reviews !!
Love the reviews, thanks for the great video!

Thanks for watching
Thanks again Mark 🤟 Ping and Epic LS and Speed on custom fit list when we are free! Giving me so much info to take to the session, thank you 🙏
Coach must love Jan every year! Callaway always look shiny, but hey they work
Great gains on the distance Mark. Been enjoying watching the progress! It’s made it my winter goal to add some yards to my drives! Handicap is the lowest it’s ever been right now but to gain a few yards would help it get lower I think!
Hi Mark, really like you review videos. You always test the club and show your results. I wish someone would do a driver video with a senior citizen hitting the club, slow swing speed. Hopefully this would provide good information for all seniors who need help determining what loft to use and what shaft (S,R, A) to use.

I agree. These reviews should begin with, "My average driver swing speed is ....." Speed effects every data point of a clubhead performance. That being said, Mark's technique of reviewing clubs, one against the other, is very good. I particularly like the fact that he rotates from one club to the other & then back again (mixing it up) ...I like that.
BRUH, you had a 115 in you, all it needed was one more! 😂 Reminds me of the pumped walk back to the pro shop to ask for just 1 more bucket of balls 😂
Been signed up to be a tester for a month or so! I’m here when you are ready 😃
Loving the reviews as always, would love to test the new balls too!
No 262 for you! Haha! Speed training is working. Fantastic review, Crossfield.
Mark as always great review. Whenever you get back to the US, I think you should check out some courses in Wisconsin. (I’m biased I live there). When you ask about sound, I think it’s a fine line between a ting sound and also a carbon/solid sound. Too much of a muffled sound gives the feeling of less pop and to me a tingy sound gets a little “cheap” sounding. So I think the perfect club balances both. As always great review and amazing content for golfers on your channel.
Mark great video. Great review. I will try it and see if it’s worth me getting
Great reviews as always Mark, defo need to get fitted for a new driver me thinks, after a few lessons anyway!
Great video Epic Max 💪🏽⛳️
Great and fun review as always :)
Just bought one, feels really stable. Surprised I walked in expecting to buy a SIM or TSI. I like the 50g HZRDUS shaft also, can feel the head more.
Looks soooo good. Great vid as well 😎🤙
Callaway Epic Speed vs Ping G425 is the match I would like to see. One of these will be in my bag this year. Love your videos, commentary and willingness to educate instead of perpetuating golf myths. Lol
Best looking Callaway in years! I want my driver to sound like persimmon!
Cheers Mark I enjoy the detail and honesty you and coach give about all the kit regardless, I would like to be a tester , returned to golf after 18yrs . Can't believe how hard im finding it used to be of 13 now 27.5 🙄🙄😱😱 . Happy to give any product a fair try Cheers Danny Mcloughlin
I’m looking at new clubs and I think they’re the ones for me can’t wait to try them out
Quite interesting for them to move to putting a moveable weight into their high MOI version. Also I’d be interested to see the shape of the speed next to the standard mavrik, given the big story last year was that lift at the back end for aerodynamics. Didn’t immediately notice if it is still there on the Speed
love the new speed ,best driver I've ever hit
Awesome video... gonna be signing up!
One of your best driver reviews, well done. Your are echoeing your top gun movie desires......... I feel the need the need for speed.. great review you Mr Cruise wannabe
Love the data centric honest approach... I don't take advise from KZread videos but Mark if you told me to jump i would probably be in the air before you said how high lol

Haha thanks bruh but always best to test yourself. 👍👍
I've signed up hoping for the chance to test something 🤞as I've just got back into the game after 10 years away after retirement from football due to injury. Love the videos and the banter between you and locky, it's got me through 9 months of furlough living 3 women 👍
Could watch you hit ‘Just one more’ all day long. Well when I am not out playing or practicing of course.
I'm signed up and love Callaway golf balls. Only played cheap til recently.
Still the best review on KZread 👍 ...are you staying with Srixon, Cleveland, xxio this year?
Worth watching till the bitter end 👍
Great video. "Get quicker Mark" 🤣🤣
Great vid
Great stuff Mark, love the in-depth review. Not sure I like the idea of Callaway going back to Epic, but I do like Callaway drivers. Would probably go for the Ping425 of your recent reviews 👍🏻

Remember they go from epic to rogue/MAVRIK releases year on year. So this is a new epic in that line but still it feels like we don’t go forward with the “names” which for me feels a bit lost. At the end of the day that’s just marketing 👍
Love the look and sound
Went to get fitted for the sim2 today and the pro gave me the speed and my spin dropped by 1300 and a better ball flight great club didn't expect it to be that good
Nice one bruh so much faster than the old 262 now 👍 👏
playing a Titleist 910d2 at the mo, excited to test these as well as the ping offerings
Great review Mark. Much prefer the understated dull thud of carbon tech. Would also be interesting to include last year’s model in your reviews to see what, if any, gains can be had 😃👍
Played two rounds with the Speed and the Max LS, the Speed was slightly longer for me. I hit both with the 60 gram MMT shaft which performs very well.
Crazy how much further you’re hitting it these days Mark 👊👍

It’s getting there.
What amazing idea Mark 👍
Good review mark
Signed up love the chrome soft 🏌️♂️
Think we need some more “after the video” footage. What was in your packed lunch, how was the traffic on the way home, that sort of thing 😂
Interesting they dropped Subzero and went to LS...feels a little like a reaction to Pings LST, especially as the Ping drivers have been so well received / reviewed since G400?
So Epic!!!!
Great video bruh
Looking good them!
I love your reviews, honest and helpful with the stats! In need of a new driver but is it worth saying a few £ and going 'last years' model!? hmmmm
Would .ike to test new golf balls. Great review of Epic drivers
Get quicker Mark! Going for a full bag fitting next week. I wonder if the fitting heads are out... Going in with no brand bias. Whatever works, wins. Thanks for the comparison! ⛳️🏌🏽♂️
Great, honest review as always 👍🏽 Now how do I get to test these Callaway balls? 😂 Think you’re slowing down bruh 😎
Happy with Mavrik Max which I got fitted with in March last year!!
Interesting how the jailbreak decorations are totally separate from the actual tech in the club.

Interesting when Mark said low spin drivers tend to want to go right !
RIP #262 . Well done Mr. Mark!
Speed model sounds solid. Not "hollow or "tinny". Great overall feel. I just bought one after being fitted.
A Callaway driver review and No Lockey. Just not rite bruh. Good review as always . Just brutally honest 👏🏻👏🏻. Great work bruhhhh
That’s epic bruh.!!
Interesting comment about the sound, remember testing the original and had the issue with how dull it sounded and wasn't keen on how it felt
Keep up the good workshop guy’s
Thanks Mark, good review. Can you hit this faster than the Ping because the headweight is lighter?
I'd test it (if they had it in the local shop!) but then would probably go and buy a two or three year old one after testing that. Cool vid lads, missing the golf bad during lockdown here in Donegal :( And that white wall socket is annoying my CDO, swap for a black one or paint? :)
I’ve not been a fan of Callaway balls this far but am always willing to give manufacturers a try when they have something new.
Brilliant review jus wish I was in market for new driver 😝
Love to test the callaways
Love the Epic name, also love the green and black.
Signed up to Test, great review Mark! Which is better in your opinion? Ping or Callaway?
I went to a golf store and said I was looking for a driver. After a hour of fitting I ended up with the Callaway Epic Max. And we took 1inch off the shaft. With a 9 degree head and when later in the day when I went to the driving range I could see the performance. I normally slice the ball but after correcting my swing during the fitting I was driving my shots 250+ yards the only complaint is the launch is high and I lose sight of the ball but good driver in my opinion.
Good review what does Coach do with these? Will they be way left?
Mark: I noticed when you hit the drivers, you hold your breath. Inhale, then exhale after you've hit. This tightens your muscles. Have you ever wondered why tennis players grunt when they swing the racket? Because they get more power with their swing. Try exhaling with your downswing. See what happens, you might like the results. :-) It may feel weird at first, like any swing change. But the results will come.
Love Epic. love the green. Happy out. Still rocking the original Epic. Didn't like the look of the Rogue or Maverick. Will definitely look at this year's one.
Looking at the ranges for Callaway in the past few years they seem to give each product a 2 year life cycle with an update on either side on alternate years, epic, rogue, epic flash, Mavrik, now back to Epic. I think this helps to not alienate a product after 9/10 months of being in the market.
Just purchased my Epic Mac ..... can't wait for the weather to crack.
Hi Mark. Loving your work. You are the ultimate crash test dummy! I mean that in the most positive way possible. You have a consistency of delivery and club/swing manipulation that none of us average golfers can possibly conceive, let alone deliver. This is absolutely vital in doing fair comparisons between club manufacturers and the tech they offer. However, I would like to suggest to you that this doesn't necessarily always translate into direct help for us average club golfers. Can I ask you to survey your subscribers by handicap at some stage and give us some feedback as to your subscriber demographic. ( I would also pose you the additional conundrum of imagining/proposing your subscriber's potential too.) I love the idea that you include some club golfers in your away days, so how about getting them (covid securely) get involved with testing the latest clubs? Ideally, single figure, teens and 20+ handicap golfers. So there is someone we, (your dedicated followers) can relate to in our own individual skill (or lack of) bracket? Isn't that what the club manufacturers aim their ranges of clubs towards? You and I both know that the big manufacturers don't develop clubs to just please the tour pros, they need to sell product! The tour guys get it for free so we the punters buy into the brand/performance magic. Same argument as F1 cars and most other sport/leisure tech brands. Aspiration and enjoyment is what it's all about. I don't for one minute think the above idea would produce any starling or revolutionary results, but it would be fun watching the process and outcome. It would certainly become even more relatable. As a separate challenge, I would love to see you take two medium/high handicap golfers of a similar age and experience and spend the same fixed amount of money on golf kit for one, then give lessons for the other and see which one improved the most over a three month period. (I think we both already know what the better result would be.) Keep pressing the envelope! ps Big love to Coach Lockey too! Without his contribution and your relationship with one another, your endeavors would be hugely diminished. Golf = Fun - but not on your own!
Just looks like classic Callaway. It sounds good. When I am gaming my Maverick. I can’t honestly say I really pay any attention to the sound.
Been gaming Callaway Chrome Soft balls for about 5 yrs or so. So far, I haven't found a better ball. I stuck around, as always.
Hey Mark, if you have filled out his before do you need to do it again for these golf balls? Have done it previously for some Srixon ones, thanks
I heard the Big Epic Maverick driver for 2022 is already in the pipeline and has a "slick" face making it super low spin. Love me some good tech chat!
Interesting test Mark, thanks. Noted from video at 22:07 that the Max has a longer neck than the other two (i.e., where the heads' lofts are shown) - weight distribution for stability?
Watching this after seeing the Ping review makes me wonder if some of these boys don't just have some sort of secret handshake in the back rooms about the kinds of targets they're trying to do with these clubs. LOL Personally, I like the sound. New driver season means I'm looking forward to Mark hitting #282 this year with all the extra speed practice he's going to get smashing these boys around. YES PLEASE!!!
I really wanna try the Epic Speed!
Hanging in there with you brah. I am also trying to get faster.
i have the new TSI2, long but sometimes tough to control. I am 68 years old and a 9.1 index I saw your epic and Ping 425 reviews. Going for a fitting in a few weeks. which driver is the straightest and most forgiving for the reviews a few yards don't matter
I love it, Callaway clearly tells golfers that they should only update their drivers every two years :-) Either stay on the Rogue - Mavirk train or on the Epic train.
