Спорт

Check out this video if you are in the market for a laser rangefinder, especially either the Bushnell Tour V4 or the Leupold GX 5i Laser rangefinder because Matthew Cooke and Arick Zeigel give you their take, and real time experience using these products on the golf course playing against each other.
Golf product reviews are often done indoors with people who do not play golf, or if they do they don't play good golf for the most part, whereas Matthew and Arick are PGA Professionals and have a much more practical approach and a real opinion (Non biased of course).
If you like this product review let us know! If you think there are things we can be better at or things you want us to focus on in the future please let us know. We are trying to provide real value to the world of golf and applying our philosophy to everything.

I’ve owned both Bushell and Leupold. Leopold hands down. It has a fog feature, Altitude feature which takes into account if you are playing in higher elevation. You can set the club you want to use in each yardage, but if you play often enough that should not be needed.

Good review however there is another point to compare and that is the OLED readout of the Leupold is much more clearer and brighter than the V4 bushnell. The Leupold display stands out much better, hence the comparison of Leupold performing like a BMW or Mercedes versus the bushnell Looking like a Honda, Hundai or Toyota

Any more updates on Leupold? I have brand new GX-3i 3 & still uncertain if I should keep it or go with Bushnell.

Hey George, we’ll shoot a video review of your model if you’d like? Matthew loves Leupold & Arick loves Bushnel.

I've had a Leupold GX-4i for 4 years. It picks up targets especially the flag quicker and better than any friends Bushnell I have compared it to.

I've had mine for 8 years easy but it just went out of calibration, I contacted Leupold and they offered my a replacement for 1/2 freaking price! Yeah baby! I just hoping to somehow reset it but wow!

@@tableshaper4076 actually I think I’ve had mine almost that long also and it just stopped giving me yardages. I bought one for half price also but because of supply problems I won’t get it for 5-6 months. I don’t really want another brand though so I’m going to wait and use my partners that I’m playing with for now.

I've owned both. I purchased the Leupold and was given the Bushnell as a gift. The Leupold has been sent in for service twice and its still not right. I want to like it more but I simply can't trust it. On the other hand, the Bushnell works every time. Maybe mine was just a lemon, similar to my last BMW.

Your evaluation of the Leupold was Very incomplete. I have read the owners manual, as I have this unit, and since you did not read the manual you guys clearly did not understand its many features /capabilities making you unable to do a worthwhile comparison. You need to “ do your homework” next time, comparing features, cost, reliability, ease of use etc. if you want to make a useful product evaluation just pulling a couple of somewhat complex electronic units out of their boxes and then talking as much about their cases and their relative aesthetics is just not the primary information that potential rangefinder buyers need to know. Having said the above, I should mention that although the Leupold has an easy to read red display and works very well while it is still working, it does not work for long after the warranty period, and in my opinion, a rather expensive unrepairable product like this that is very carefully taken care of should last for more that 2 - 4 years, so I would not buy another, even at the $220 company-offered replacement cost for a new GX-3i3, not a big enough incentive. My son's Bushnell V-3 is still working well after 3 years, though it is a Bushnell offered replacement for one of their earlier rangefinders that crashed after about 4 - 5 years itself. Though pretty much all the Chinese made units are junk, I have heard good reports from users on the quality and durability of the Golf Buddy Aim, so that is what I just bought as a replacement for $199.95 at The Golf Mart on a Walmart price match deal, and will be giving that one a try. The durability of rangefinders seems to be a big issue, and the company that can sell an durable and accurate model will sell a lot of units. Just currently hard to determine who that company is. Good luck in your search

100% spot on. Owned 4 Leupold golf rangefinders now and they simply die after about 2-3 years. Usually always display dies or quits measuring due to laser misalignment issues. Leupold use to warranty and replace no questions asked and now only sells the cheap plastic ones and specifies 2 yr warranty and knows they won’t last. Try Nikon or Bushnell. Both just as accurate and last much longer. Leupold no longer wants to take care of customers and could care less.
