Awesome review! Finally! I will add the tech support/customer service piece of it…I owned a GX-3 for almost a decade. I dropped it on the concrete after two years and broke it…they sent me a brand new one without question. Used that one for another 8 years and it fell out of my bag while loading and it broke again…I called them. It was way out of warranty so they wouldn’t replace it (plus they didn’t make that model anymore), but they offered to allow me to buy any of their models for 50% off…I tried the 5c and 6c thinking I would get the 6c, but found, like you did, the stabilization wasn’t really needed. It worked great without it. I also like the bigger text. Interesting about the slop function…when I got my original 3 (it was the top one they offered at the time), it came with two face plates. The silver one had the slope function and then you just switched it out to a bright yellow one for tournament mode…Interesting they changed that! I recently bought and tried pretty much every range finder you’ve ever covered, and returned them all and stuck with my Leupold…and I’m a gear geek who loves to have all the latest/greatest…it’s that good.

I will add, YES, they need to add a magnet to make this perfect. But, I just bought a magnetic case and that works just as well. There are also after market magnetic straps you can buy, but would be good to have it built in. I walk or carry so not a big deal for me, but I know many ride carts and would be nice to have…

Literally just bought the pincaddie 3 yesterday and couldn’t find really anything about it online but this video popped up lol

How does the GX-6C compare with Nikon Coolshot II, Cobalt Q-6 Slope, Bushnell Pro XE/X3, or Garmin Z82 in terms of quickly locking on to the flag?

would you recommend the 3&5 over the COBALT Q-6 ?

Loved mine, until it broke. Customer service is horrible. For 3 months I have received no email reply ... and they don't answer the customer service phone. The electrical component on the battery door became disconnected. Simply looking to get a replacement door ($5? $25?)... instead, they won't respond so I am in the market for a new rangefinder.

Leopold is the only kind I have ever owned, and they weren't either products probably better than anybody else! I always have been one hundred percent satisfied with their products

BS on the service...I had the GX 3 for a year and the display failed.... they would not service or replace.

No magnet is a dumb hill die on. It's necessary these days. There's a reason 95% of all other rangefinders have it.
