Bonelab with multiplayer opens ALOT of possibilities, I'm seeing this becoming a big option to play with friends.

Man honestly it would be THE go-to for playing with friends. You can do anything from just sitting around like you do in VRChat to going through the entire campaign together, it's gonna be awesome!

The Fusion developer re-used code from the game, multiplayer was planned it just wasn’t implemented. My guess is that since he had already announced his plans to make this mod, and the MP mod for Boneworks he did was so good, SLZ saw no need to finish their own version once they laid the groundwork, and instead focused on polishing and other aspects of the modding sdks.

@@stellarthealiendeer people can mod anything they want. I’ve already seen some combine enemies that wield batons and some giant nullbodies, but if you want harder enemies just have sword fights with your friends in the fusion full physics multiplayer mod. It came out two days ago

Yup, and it seems to work incredibly well already, so I'm looking forward to seeing what other crazy multiplayer mods this opens up the game for!

ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD I swear stress level zero team secretly made this mod! Its sooo good it feels native! The only problem is when u have a modded avatar that someone doesn't have it showsthe polyblank avatar!

Gmod has vr mod that most people would use as an alternative if they don't have bonelab but a good pc to play vr and a vr headset

At least there's the referral system so anyone can have it 25% off already even without a sale. Just create a referral link in your phone app and give it to your friends (or make something like A is giving the ref. link to B, B->C, C->D etc), you'll get a little payout for doing that as well, so all of you will win. (assuming and hoping you're not in a country where this doesn't work yet)

I think everyone might need to have the same mods installed, but we’ll see how that works. Not sure how you could see a gun or any mod that I’m using if you don’t have it and we’re in the same environment.

If you have steam (not steamVR, I mean you can have both but it doesn't matter) installed you can play fusion on oculus headsets and there is cross-play between oculus home and steamVR

The Quest 2 native version is actually very good too, but sadly multiplayer will not work on it right now, though hopefully it will in the future.

Not sure, I think the Oculus partying system might not be ready from launch but keep an eye out on their discord.

Well it’s currently only launching for PCVR, the modder is still working on the Quest version but the limitations are way bigger.

I'm going to submit a request to join you... I'll list some things here, so I can let you decide immediately if you want me to go into detail I do sound like a mild squeaker, with a speech impediment. to be honest, I do feel immature at times, given my current age where I'm supposed to be serious I'm mostly a social gamer though, usually only playing when I have somebody to play with... so it is safe to say I haven't done the entire bonelab and boneworks campaign yet I'm also a oculus rift user (specifically Quest 2 with virtual desktop) (I do know how to mod the game through the thunderstore, having previous experience with risk of rain 2 and when I tried to set up boneworks multiplayer with a friend, but he left) I'll let you decide now if you want to reject me or get into detail

It's not, and it's not out yet the gameplay is from the testers. It launches tomorrow on SteamVR and Oculus Home/OculusPC, with cross play between both. As of right now a quest 2 port is impossible to make since lemonloader breaks whenever a mod creates too many gamehooks, and fusion is a single .DLL file

@@CALNDStuff at 2:40 the dev explains how the the networking will work, stating that currently the mod uses steam networking, but will include epic games networking for oculus users, so does this mean it will support eg networking on launch or some time after launch?
