I purchased the M300-XT after seeing the MIC test showing how it blocks the mixer noise completely. However was very disappointed with the unit I purchased where the background noise is NOT BLOCKED at all! Tested with an air conditioner 3 feet from me and it sounds in the recording with no reduction what so ever. Compared to a non cancelling headset, sounds the same. Very disappointed! What a difference from the test in this review and my test!

Many vendors are cheaper still. I got mine shipped total for $68USD

I’m a truck driver and I was very amazed how there was no noice on the blander or the car noise, I like it, thank you for the great video.

My hubby bought my new M300XT a week ago, as an early Christmas present and I received it yesterday in the mail. I ordered it online and bought the 36 month extended warranty. I love it so far, when I'm working around the house or on the go as I talk to my hubby family and friends. I love it so far that it is so light and fits comfortable in my small ear while using the small ear bud size. The sound is amazing while listening online with videos, or music. Everyone who talks to me on it, can hear me very clear.

Mic seems a bit quiet. Is it on the highest volume in your demo or can it be increased a bit?

But is the new 300 SE louder than most others?

Thanks for the review, how does it compare to the Blue parrot b-450 xt headset? I currently use the 450 and it's great, but the over the ear phone gets hot and uncomfortable at times.

Hi Jeremiah, they're two entirely different type of headsets. The mic quality and noise cancellation of the M300-XT is nowhere near as good as the b450-xt unfortunately.

Sadly it isn’t that loud, I’m returning it today because of that, it’s like u want more volume to hear better but that’s it.. the other side they said they hear me like if I had microphone up(you know ).. It may works great for office tho.

Doesn't come close to 450. If your friend is using the M 300 and you're using the 450 every piece of crap that makes a noise in the background will make you go deaf on the other side. 300 is the biggest waste of money and the most worthless headset blue parrot has ever made.

@@fredygonzalez962 smart move. Get c400XT And those you speak with will absolutely love love the peaceful and quiet conversation of your voice and not the stupid ambient noise that M 300 produces

Is it possible to replace the ear gels with an actual rubber dome-shaped earpiece like you can with the Plantronics models? I absolutely loathe eargels, as they are incredibly uncomfortable, not even remotely ergonomic, and don't stay in your ear well or provide a good seal.

Otherwise a pretty good test. 1st time I happened on you channel. 👍 Edit: one nitpick.... maybe you could include a panning shot of your profile while wearing the device so we can see how it looks. Maybe not high on the list of attributes, but might make a tie-breaker.

Hello,I have the Blue Parrot M300XT ear piece and for the most part did enjoy it . Notice I said (for the most part ). It performed flawlessly for 4 weeks until it all of a sudden stopped being able to allow me to talk with it . It is like the mute is on and won't switch off. I spent nearly $100 on this device and when it stopped working correctly,I had to buy something else. Is there a way to switch the mute off,so I can go back to using my ear piece ?

Hi Michael, you should be covered under the 1 year warranty. There's no other switch that you haven't already tried we'd know about to get the mic working. Sounds like a defective mic.

Hi Nelson, yes you can answer calls from the headset when connected to your mobile phone.

I like it, idk what the hell all the bad reviews are about

My biggest complaint is the lack of caller id announce and no "answer or ignore" voice commands. I love my Plantronics 5220, however, the lack of USB-C and weak battery are major bummers. I did reach out to Jabra and asked if they were working on a firmware update to add these features. They said no. Shame.

Same here. That's a deal breaker for me because alot of times my hands are tied and it's easy to say "answer"

The sound output at Maximum volume is lower than my phone on speakerphone at 10mn away at half volumes

This does not work on a computer?

When a call comes in on your cell phone, the parrott button should answer/end your calls. Is that not happening?

So weird. I have two blue parrots including this one and the noise cancellation is nothing like this. It doesn't block any noise at all. So confused. 😅

Hi Daemian, you should be able to if you have enough room to get the earpiece on with the helmet, but we haven't had tested or confirmed this with a customer.

Just to let you know, fits perfectly, item is super comfortable, anc cancels all surrounding traffic noise, my bike engine noise, surprisingly well. Due to my job, I need to be on the road, and be on call, 10 hours, so another plus for this item, 14 hrs standby is perfect for my needs. Lastly, microphone is loud and clear, this I have been told by, clients and customers. I have only had this item less than a week, so far so good, if you don't mind, I will use for 3 months and post a 3 month item review. Let's call it, Out of the box 😁

the car noise was pretty loud, yet the rest was ok. Its minimal overall, as I am doing videos and need a high quality of bluetooth for short term use ( 3-5 min videos )

It's hard to hear though

I unfortunately bought this and should have returned it immediately. I have to push it into my ear canal and really focused to hear what the other caller is saying. They can hear me fine, but I have a really hard time hearing them

Bought me and a trucker friend this device, both of us couldnt hear very well so i updated myne worked ok for two days then went bad again this bluetooth is straight garbage and after checking reviews it has many bad ones

So currently using the headset and trust me it sucks. Can’t hear nothing and mic is horrible. Damn near have to yell for people to hear you. Will be returning.

Sorry to hear the M300-XT didn't live up to expectations. We've heard mixed review with some saying it works great for mic noise cancellation and others who say the opposite.

@@ushalit I agree 100%. If you look throughout the comments that's where I'm basing the information of hearing mixed reviews. Our microphone tests are raw and unedited. We plug it in or pair it up to a computer, press record and let you all decide the result, so it makes it hard to know why you didn't have the same experience as what our video shows. We're always open to feedback or suggestions to improve.

The speaker in a loud truck absolutely sucks. Don't buy this if you work in a loud environment.

Hi Aaron, is there another headset you tested that's worked better for you? Maybe the B450-XT would be a better fit. Although not an earpiece style, it should block out a lot more noise.

Hi Josh, if you're open to a headband wearing style, check out the B450-XT. One of the best headsets for mic noise cancellation.

If you are a trucker, don't waste your money. I bought one and returned it the next day. The mic was not good. The speaker was not good. Blueparrott really failed the truck driver with this one in my opinion.

I'm not a trucker, but I can tell you Blueparrott also failed the office workers alike. The sound is awful, and you have to turn the volume all the way up to 100% in order to be able to hear something, and still get poor sound, worse that cheaper options. And the mic simply will register a faint version of your voice. A complete disappointment. The voice prompts by the headset are the only clear and crisp sounds you'll get from this headset.

I have never seen Blueparrott put out such unsatisfactory work. I have been driving for a little over 6 years. Always had blueparrott. But this one turned me totally off.

Try looking into bone condition head phone it's something new I've seen at lives truck stop I might give them a try . A few guys at the port say they love them but I think it's some type of new technology.

this video is so confusing to me.. you start out testing the mic and its pretty good at canceling the noise but then the most confusing thing is when you test the speaker.. you blow out my ears with your recording of it and then at the end you say that the speaker is shit WTF you are so missleading

For its price this headset is beyond trash.... And i had my fair of headsets.
