New biography shines light on the life and legacy of author Philip Roth

Author Philip Roth's books were among the most influential and sensational in post-war America. Now a book about him is causing its own commotion. "CBS This Morning: Saturday" co-host Jeff Glor gets a new view of Roth from the author of his biography, and finds out how Roth's final act will help his hometown for generations.
Each weekday morning, "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs.

There's a free movie here that I just watched from one of his books is called Ghost Writer and actress Claire Bloom is in it with Sam Wanamaker ... it might seem a little slow and a few parts but it's actually got a very good premise and is very interesting ... because you do realize that is partly autobiographical . Claire blooms acting and it is very good and she's the one that was married to him briefly in real life

Tenderly towards Philip Roth. Spoken like a true author trying to sell a book. Gheez.

If you had the read the book, you would understand and agree with his comment. If you haven't, you still could avoid the rather nasty charge of " spoken like a true author trying to sell a book." As you could see from the bio's reviews, he's not going to have to "try."

So who gave their children to Hunter? Are they still breathing and just mutilated a bit, or did you bring him a few from the border daycare? We're still looking for the kids on the laptop, you should have asked where he left them, prove they still live. You aid him. ewwwww.

Extremely disappointed that Jeff Glor is gushing over the work of a misogynist, who conveniently shrugs off Roth's misogyny. What a cozy world.
