@@sweetrides8418 Hey, when you added your slip-on exhaust did you get any surging at idle? Since I've added my slip -on COBRA mufflers on my Road Glide ST every now and then I get some surging at idle, the engine idles up a little then Idols back down; I think I may need to get a tuner on the bike. I was told that you didn't need a tuner if you just put on slip-on mufflers and don't change out the head pipe, but I think I may need to put on the Screaming Eagle tuner.

I have seen 3 Road Glide ST's in 3 different HD dealerships in the U.S. 2 of 3 sold that day while I was at the HD dealership. They are a hot item. I have the 2021 RGL and love it. I have no desire for the Street Glide. I also have the Revo A's on the rear. I would like to upgrade the front next year. You should be proud of your bike. Its top shelf.

Its good that you are enjoying your RG ST. Looks great. For whatever it’s worth in a comments section I prefer the Street Glide over the Road Glide. I own an SG Special, and there were a few things I didn’t like when riding the Road Glide. The distance between rider and dashboard made me feel detached from the bike, and riding it reminded me of steering a boat!. All subjective criteria, but that’s why motorcycles are an emotional purchase!.

Nice review. Awesome bike. I opted for the 2022 RG Special with the 114. Mainly for the 2 up riding with my wife. I haven't ridden a 117 but I have to say the 114, especially with slip ons and a tune, has lots of low end power which is where I like it. Passing vehicles on 2 lane roads is a breeze. Love the bike. It's my 3rd Harley.

Riding at high speeds alongside or behind semis, I notice better stability. I don’t get blown around as much by the wind off the big trucks. On a bike with the fairing attached to the handle bars, that wind off the trucks moves my handlebars.

A Road Glide is better than a Street Glide, so no mistake made. If you ride a Street Glide, you might as well be riding a Road King. It's the fairing that makes the Road Glide what it is. I've owned my 2016 since 2017 and have no intention of trading it in on a Milwaukee 8 Road Glide because there's no need. The fairing is the same, the look is the same, the power isn't the same, but a Twin Cam can always be re-powered to stay on par with a Milwaukee 8 107, or 117. So the moral of the story is that once you find what works, you can always make it better with no need to trade it in for the "latest and greatest."

Very nice!!! I was debating between this or Street Glide ST. After test riding it, It just doesn't feel right for me, so I got the Street Glide ST in Sand Pearl White instead. It feels right and It looks so much better than all the colors after asking the delear to line them up together so I can pick the one that stands out the most and the paint has that elegant look . It makes other colors look graveyard and dull. Like night and day, great job Harley, finally making an improvement and performance you can actually feel especially with the SE stage II and SE Ohlins reservoir shocks, Tuner and Trask intake. I hope they redesign the down syndrome front look of the Road Glide. It feels so much better than 114 for sure and I like how it comes with the performance cams from the factory. Nice video!!!! I like that grey also. Ride safe.

Hi, thanks for watching 👀. Yeah it’s a Harley jacket, not sure what it’s called, I bought it on the sale rack, normally a bit pricey for me. I love the Road glide, it fitted me perfectly, so comfortable, I tried the 2024 recently, it was good, but think I prefer the old style ones more, seem to have a bit more character

Nice ride congratulations. I enjoy my SGST. Great bikes and contrary to some of the comments, the suspension is actually very good. I had Legends on my RG CVO, these are every bit as good. As far as buffeting, to me there is no noticeable difference. My other 2 bikes are a PA and a Sportster Roadster. The Roadster has buffeting, these are close to 900 lbs, buffeting, please. As far as the Cyclops goes, apples to oranges, and that is one ugly motorcycle, if you own one, I'm glad you like it. The M8 is anvil reliable now, Indian can't touch it with their air cooled engine and the Revolution Max is already a great powerplant and it's only its second year, that's what you Indian fans should be worried about seeing Cyclops only has 122 hp.

If I were a young man, I'd dump my 2 Harley Davidsons and buy a Rocket 3

Had one and traded for the ST, for me it’s just a better handling bike. I didn’t by it as a fashion statement but I do love how it looks. Anyway thanks for watching Rob, I appreciate your honest comments 👍

Rob, just because it’s popular doesn’t mean that everyone’s just following a fad. Sometimes there’s good reason for it. I traded a 2019 Ultra Classic for a 2020 RGL because for me, it was a better bike - noticeably so.

The twin cams feel more Harley, but I prefer the M8, it’s difficult for them to please everyone as they move forward. Appreciate your comments Eric 👍

I own both and the M8 is a much better engine. It also has the potential of returning the classic harley potato potato noise with a higher lobe cam.

David, I agree on the M8, I believe it’s a better engine, maybe not initially as soulful out of the box, but with a little tuning a much stronger unit

Hi Big Daddy, yeah I get that, sometimes you just want to get on and ride, without the faff of fiddling about with technology. I like tech if it’s done right and is intuitive to use. Thanks for watching and for your comments, more videos on the way 👍

Sean, Indian in its current guise started in 2011 after Polaris bought the brand, its has nothing to do with the original company apart from the name, I don’t doubt they make great bikes, and I will be reviewing some soon, but Harley have been in constant production since 1903, that’s 108 years longer than the Polaris Indian brand, so not really fair to call them the first American motorcycle?

Hi Chief, unfortunately we live in a world where nothing stays the same, emissions regulations are constantly pushing manufacturers in a different direction, but it sounds like you’ve found the bike that suits your style, so keep it maintained and treasure it. Thanks for your comments 👍

“These bikes share many of the same components”. Oh surprise surprise! Looks like the usual clumsy, impractical, obsolete, overpriced HD fashion accessory to me.

Hi John, if I hadn’t ridden one I would probably agree with you, but Harleys have something that so far No there bike has given me, the feel good factor, nothing beats a good cruise on a sunny day on a Harley, for me anyway. Thanks for watching, more Harley and non Harley videos on the way soon 👍

Hi John, I’ve been riding Harley-Davidson’s for 30 years and I still love em ❤️, but I’ve been lucky enough to own two and sometimes three bikes at the same time, so I always get to scratch my sporty itch when the mood takes me. What you riding these days?
