The game looks amazing. Especially as a huge fan of the Infected, I can say that this one has a huge potential considering the amount of things that are in it.

I was screaming "NO!!!" when you crafted all those extra leather. The game only gave you just enough to make the bellow at that point. Looks like that's what happen with most of the rewards/active tasks at the moment, so try to read the recipes more carefully, and don't make extra stuff until you are properly set up. Game is looking good after such a long hiatus. It's interesting to see what will come next

yep me too... i know he did this months ago from when i was watching but im like ' you idiot, read better lol' and the active quest thing in the bottom left he didnt see even tho he was reading his stats lol.... it was driving me crazy

please let the bears still be in the game. And let them be somewhat stealthy so they can sneak right up behind GE before roaring and charging.

This looks pretty good as well GE! Great Episode! The sounds & the Looks are spot on for The Infected Tree Choppin Stone Pickin LOL! Some of everything! Might have to check this out! Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the look GE, as always very enjoying to see you play :) Yeah I heard that Zuleica took over this abandoned game earlier this year, I have huge faith in him, he is a passionate survival player and has always had a soft spot for HYO :) Hold Your Own has been one of my favorite survival games up until they added the multiplayer and sort of wrecked the game at the same time, so I will definitely jump in and try out this new remake of it when I get the time XD

Glad to see the revisit. Finished watching the first run a couple of months back, almost bought it knowing it was dead, well I should have. Journey of Life is also being worked on again. Keeping an eye on it to see if they roll it back and fix it or go forward.

@@cherokeesquaw67 same Devs with a renewed update schedule. Every 6 months for now I believe. I almost dropped a video on it but it needs a bit more polish.

It a was a nice surprise seeing an update on this game in my steam account and I am curious how far can this new developer improve this game. For now I find it funny to have a map with so many protuguese names on it. I remember the early version became boring fast with so much back and forth between islands I am curious to see how it changed.

The game looks interesting. Looks like one you need a guide for to find all the things you need to get or make. Time to watch episode two.

The looks and name of the stuff are similar to that of the infected, but the map is excellent,. House placement in the village looks very organized, unlike the scattered houses you find in the infected. Stuff like docks, gas pumps, farms, docks, etc. gives an impression of some civilization. Foilage looks beautiful right proportions at the right places and also has slight variations to it instead of patterning the same thing over a large area. The game looks deep and has huge potential if the developer goes on the right track.

Just bought this based solely on this video. So far I'm really liking it - so grateful to have a survival game with no zombies. Thanks GE ETA - American public schools didn't prepare me to convert C° to F° on the fly lol

You can right click the food or water item in your inventory to use it. Also, when you killed the deer and skinned it, you got 2 arrows back.

Somehow I knew what your next quest objectives were before you did.

Never saw this game before so have nothing to compare it to... But the deer noises are just as obnoxious as The Infected...so they all must die! Interested to see more, GE!

I find it very interesting that the deer and bear sounds are the same as “the infected”. I wonder if they just bought the stock sounds.

Hi GameEdged you got two arrows back from the deer when .

The bandits will spawn in on day 3. The loot will respond every 10 days unless you don’t completely loot the item then it won’t.

did anyone mentioned that the active quest is right next to the hunger, health and stamina meters? and the body temp is acting weird. i imagine u wont be as productive on 29°C body temp lol

I swore this was the infected at first

ouch...far too bright a flash on hitting rocks with the pickaxe. people with sensitive eyes won't like that. otherwise, it looks great. i am not a big fan of guns, but handguns aren't terrible...i like it (the game).

A game like Invicted

I don't understand how somebody can be blind enough to not notice the hud when they are in-game.

This is like a replica of The Infected with guns! Like a mix between The Infected and Subsistence! Maybe a bit of 7D2D added in? Oh and I saw the biofuel asset from Mist Survival!
