This is an improvement on Lethamyr's lava/ice rings in every way. While I don't race my own completion times, I've completed them tons of times, and one thing that always irked me about the lava/ice rings map is that there were a couple unintended aspects. I think it's level 12, you descend, and you could literally skip all of the rings going down, then on level 17, when the rings get super small, there was 1 ring in particular that would reset you for not being on the left of the ring. On top of that, parts like Mount Kronovi let you land on the mountain, and reset. Kinda cheesy I just downloaded neon heights today, and I absolutely love it. It's free now too. It honestly plays like a roller coaster. Yeah, you could know where the dips and dives are, where it gets fast and where it slows down, where it bends and turns, etc,etc but it's not going to stop you from wanting to play it again. I could ride a roller-coaster 5 times in a row and still have a blast. Likewise, I could complete this map numerous times and still enjoy playing it. That ring at 3:30, off the wall - I was able to use that exact angle in a tournament yesterday, and it led to me air-dribbling the ball right into the net in the first 30 seconds of the game. Definitely demoralized our Diamond Opponents, seeing someone play off of a ball that they were reading, and watching it go straight in to your goal.

For someone first learning either regular air roll or directional air roll, I think leth's first rings map, the icy rings map, is much more challenging and puts you in more unique situations and tighter angles. If you are going slow, which you should be when you start to learn to understand air roll, this map is a piece of cake compared to the icy rings map. I can 0 death this thing easy but I still struggle on the icy rings map. Anyways that's my two cents. Icy rings challenges you to learn more about how to control your car. This one will only be helpful to me if I try speedrunning it.

Hop into a rings map and force yourself to get to the end while holding air roll and never letting go. Youll fall hundreds of times but you will eventually force yourself to understand how to do it. I highly recommend lethamyr's icy rings map over this one though

@@Sebo. oh shoot no way! Glad to hear it though felt like a huge blow to game considering how much Epic pushes creativity in Fortnite, here's hoping they're working on something behind the scenes for rocket league
