We are finally Seeding our New Backyard Lawn!!! We were able to go from the dirt we created from killing the lawn, power raking, aerating, and finally adding sand, to germination in 5 days and a green lawn in 7 days. The grass is still developing, but the progress has FAR exceeded my expectations!

I am impressed! Great results! I used the same grass seed to put in bare areas around my lawn. It has been 5 days and I don’t see anything. I bought some nice top soil + compost blend along with peat moss. I am worried now

Don't worry yet. Fescue can take up to 10-14 days to germinate.
What's your weed control plan?

Currently, none. Just hand pulling if I see anything. I have a bit of a fungus issue I am addressing in my next video. Unfortunately, I can't do pre-emergent at the moment, but I will in late winter for Spring.
