NEW Aston Martin F1 Car Compared To Valkyrie For the FIRST Time!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We are one step closer to the production version of the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar! We take a look at the new Aston Formula 1 car and draw parallels between the two and how the Valkyrie uses actual formula 1 technology! The Valkyrie uses a 6.5L V12 that revs to 11,100rpm and together with the hybrid drivetrain develops over 1000bhp with 900nm of hybrid torque and, this is the year we're going to share the first drive!

@Santiago Oehler Toca Valkyrie preceeds the Stroll investment in Aston Martin by a few years (2017 program inception I think?), but the tie in with F1 is a smart strategy to boost the brand, if they combine it with operational excellence and product refinement it will boost sales volumes no question.

@@hobmarg I see it as a fat lie to be honest, people will think as it’s designed that it’s an Aston Martin F1 car, when it is literally built by another team and company and just has Aston Martin slapped on it. I doubt it has a single Aston Martin component on it near the badges. When it has an Aston engine in it it’ll be worthy if the badge IMO.

Stroll's takeover of Aston Martin changed everything in 4 steps : 1 : Andy Palmer, Aston Martin's former CEO wanted to use Mercedes only as an engine supplier for their V8 and not as a partner. And then, he humiliated Mercedes publicly by saying that Aston Martin will develop its own V6 because they doesn't want a 4 cylinder. 2 : Lawrence Stroll, who owns the Racing Point F1 team, always pushed to have the closest relationship with Mercedes in F1 by being a close business partner to Toto Wolff, the Mercedes-AMG F1 team principal. That's how Mercedes's CEO Ola Kallenius asked Lawrence Stroll to push that working relationship on the road by taking control of Aston Martin for Mercedes. 3 : Stroll took over of Aston Martin. His first decision was to kick out Palmer to make AMG's CEO Tobias Moers the new CEO of Aston Martin and turn the Racing Point F1 team into an Aston Martin F1 team. 4 : Mercedes increased their share of Aston Martin from 5 to 20 % and will provide more engines, platforms, electric drive technology, and even software. That's why they've cancelled their Palmer's V6 for the Valhalla and will replace it by an all new engine from AMG.

Remember guys, theyr making an AMR PRO, wonder how crazy that beast wil be
I am now confident in saying that the Valkyrie would be my number 1 choice if I could own any car regardless of price or availability. The new Mercedes version is cool, but this just seems to be on another level, and the amount of time being put into it as far as develpment etc since it was first announced a couple of years ago in my opinion shows how much more advanced and most likely better performing it will be than anything else made. Now if only I had one of the allotments, and it could be made comfortable for someone who is 6' 6" tall everything would be perfect.... Well done like always James!! imho, the green looks better on youtube than what it looks on instagram
Aston is giving James a lot of access!
James: sounds like the good era F1 car! New era F1 car behind him: I'mma just cry...
I am so so glad that Laurence Stroll didn’t cancel the Valkyrie project when his consortium took over Aston. Normally when new owners come in they cull any “exotic” projects that are still in their early development phases. I also can’t help wondering if the Aston & Red Bull F1 teams will find some benefit by the Valkyrie’s aerodynamics and the new 2022 F1 rules, ie the Venturi tunnels and how to get the most from their shape and design. Something to think about maybe. 🤔✌🏼
