I have been waiting for some new arrma release. Even better that the master gets to show us and give it a nice shake down see how holds up. Great job as usual 👍🏼. Nice detail . Sort of reminds me a bit of my udr with the drivers and passengers. No doubt this new rig will not disappoint.

So it’s a kraton XL with a custom body. I’m digging it! Arrma really embraces the communities ideas and feed back.

Yes indeed Brother 😜!!!! She's a screamer no question. The 16T on punch 9 is the ticket. Going 500k center and shifting the lipo rearward really gets the power down nicely. 🍻

Nice new rig Rich, so fun🤙. I moved my battery tray as you did rearward on my Mojave and stopped breaking carbon fiber shock towers when sending it off cliffs😐. Made a huge difference💪

Congratulations on the new rig man. What an epic car . I saw the teaser yesterday and had been chomping at the bit to know haha. Had to wait til after work to watch anything on it and I saw your video notification n knew what the 1st video was gonna be to watch. They seriously nailed it. It looks sick and a blast. Being in the heart of winter here in Maine seeing them running it in snow just makes me wanna rip one more haha. It slide they listened to you with your awesome orange darling build. Can't wait to see you do more with it. Wish the price point was a little lower for a rtr but they will still get my money haha. Getting this sucker out in the sun helped lift my spirits 🤗. So bloody awesome to see ARRMA use the stable Mojave chassis to build this Tactical Beast!!!! The styling is just insane 😂. Super impressed with the cage design 👀. They definitely meant business with this this one Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊

When I first bought I thought it would handle decently. Then I brought it to the 1/8 buggy race track and I was smoking all the buggies and truggies out there. We are all amateurs on the track but still, you can tell it was easier for everyone who drove it to get around the track. It handles like a dream offroad. I did change the shock oil and gear oil though. I want another one to dress up with a raptor truck body, can't ever have enough, lol.

Yeah the chassis still looks straight 👀. She'll need alloy chassis braces for jumping (sooner than later) and an M2C chassis for really big sends 😱. This platform isn't a true mega sender with the heavier cage. It's more an all around basher 😍. I've got my Orange Darling XL when I want to do orbits airs 😂😎💪👊👊

Awesome breakdowns and shakedowns with the New Arrma fireteam tactical truck Bro Rich! Based off the Kraton XL that we know and love she definitely drives and handles beautifully. Hey Chris you finally got past the prototype faze and allowed our favorite manufacturer to begin mass producing that Mojave Monster Buggy that I absolutely believe may have been the reason for this new design by arrma d (might have been a bit too similar to other brands under the HH umbrella if arrma was to release a new rig/krojave/kraton xl making it appear to look like another one of HH's core brand body design...so a side by side with a bit of a gimmick helped it to be less comparable to the bodies we see on axial losi etc but built tough and very well designed body from what rich just pointed out indeed shows how well the krojave/kraton xl truly is or was lol an amazing hybrid since it seemsbto me that without the body, wheels and bumpers... that is a krojave for most part. All in all I've had my m2c'ified krojave built as soon as I saw your original Mojave hybrid Chris, actually had the same color body as Rich's "orange Darling" C-10 chevy body on it that I painted years ago but never used it until tge Mojave/kraton hybrid build came along which has only recently turned into what looks and runs similar to what ide assume a 1/7 buggy would by modifying a limitless shell, some shock tuning as well as a set of belted/non belted katars (I run both) the thing looks and feels almost like a 1/7 buggy for sure. I found it odd how I (like myself) managed to build any rig/arrma hybrid prior to rich building one as I've found great benefit and joy by "copying" Rich in alota if ways since day 1 when I took stock v3 typhon wheels off before running typhon 6s based upon your reasoning fir the " truggified " mods, except 5+ years later I've had what looks like the twin of Rich Duberbash' " orange darling" which is strange for two reasons ... first my krojave built just after commander astig built his original version and it appears to be almost exact same truck from m2c chassis on up that you, rich, later built many many months after...ok maybe I don't have a completely m2c'd krojave but 90% and same body and exact same burnt orange color to a "t"... usually you guys build em and I sorta copy you but to see what is almost exactly the same choice of aftermarket parts, similar tuning and kids along with identical c10 orange body...maybe I'm starting to get the hang if the hobby in which I gratefully learned by watching guys such as you both (2 out of 3 of my favorite rc enthusiasts as well as my "go to" YT channels for entertainment and most certainly to learn from such knowledgeable guys who really take great time/energy creating vids and replying to comments from guys just like myself in turn allowing us to skip alot of tge time consuming and rather expensive trial and error process on damn near every rig I have purchased or built in last 5 years 100% don't know what ide do without you guys to help me with ideas, tips, amazing arrma hybrids that i actually enjoy buiding/bashing/rebuilding differently than before which has def become my favorite party of the hobby. Thanks to you both for sharing teaching and taking time/effort to share all the vids that literally got me into the hobby years ago and continue to keep me intrigued entertained and grateful for the hobby,, Thank you both🍻 ** side note about this new release... is the chassis any different than the Mojave? Same but with some mounting holes for rear handbrake? Not a big fan of the "cartel figurines" personally and never really liked the heads in my Mojave body either... but I wonder what could be done to remove the little guys inside, maybe make/buy some lexan panels/interior cover or even just a windshield to avoid getting too much debree logged inside 🤔 wonder what it would look like without the 4 guys looking a bit trigger happy lol either way I've been searching for an alternative body for my krojave build since Chris Anthony built his v1 krojave now I believe I've got one for when I want to yet again change the krojave which went from a c10 body truggy like performance into a 1/7 limitless buggy after body swap diff/shock tuning and some katars(belted & non belted depending on environment I'm running). Need to know more about the newly designed rear mounted handbrake design as I removed my v2 infraction handbrake simply due to poor performance/problems with center diff etc but a Rear Mounted handbrake might be fun to try out if it's designed to really lock up the rear wheels as I hoped the original handbrake design would on the infraction(I'm itching fir you to start doing what you do best with this new "firesquad" or whatever the name is and look firwardvto seeing how these newly designed parts can be applied to my other arrma rigs/hybrids etc). Long winded post but I really do appreciate you Rich as well as guys like Chris Anthony and a couple others who if not fir their kind efforts/work to show us less knowledgeable and budgeted bashers how or what can be done to make the best of an already great platform, brand of rc and ultimately the hobby as a whole fr me personally. Thanks again fir the great maiden session vid and will keep my eyes peeled fir any future vids related to this very interesting/unexpected newly released 1/7 arrma "Cartellified" krojave 🍻🤣🤪

Not sure if you'd need a tower swap, but definitely Kraton arms, links, and driveshafts. Might need hubs, hexs, and stub axels for full Kraton width too. Not having owned a Mojave, I'm just not sure. 🍻

Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I'm still learning the platform. The biggest improvements have been aftrr dropping in a Hobbywing Max8 ESC and M2C Racing pistons. I'm running 25/46 gearing with a Hot Racing metal spur gear. My stock VXL 4s was cutting out and holding back the stock motor. 😎💪👊👊

Arrma outdid themselves w this model. The wow factor is insane🍻

Hi Rich! Bin watching you for years. Really enjoy your channel. As much as your driving is insane to watch, I absolutely love the shake downs at the begin of the vids. You know your stuff and I use your set ups often in my applicable applications. Quick question, Why do you prefer a rear end biased weight RC? Correct me if I'm wrong, front end heavy car is a better handle one, isn't it? Maybe you can answer this in your next vid ;) Keep doing what your doing bother! Love it!

Thanks so much for the support and kind words Kevin 🤗. You're right about handling being superior with the forward weight bias, but that would be more for cornering and doing fast laps like when racing. For bashing, I prefer rearward bias so I can wheelie over puddles, ruts, and have more level flying off jumps. It's also easier to load the rear wheels for drifting and pull cleaner backflips. If you hold the car mid chassis, you'll notice the front to rear balance feels better with the rearward tray setup. That's why I've stuck with it since first building my Orange Darling XL on the Mojave chassis. 🍻😎💪👊👊

@@blacksheeprc8113 yes indeed Brother 👊. You need those molded block pieces that the brace attaches to plus the two M4 screws that secure the brace to the blocks. 👍

Thanks so much Jack 🤗. I love the MX28's on my ARRMA 3s rigs (Big Rock and Granite). The newer MX28 HP's (belted) have done Killer on my Truggified Typhon 6s 😍

looks pretty cool but will it be Duperbash worthy & withstand your extreme jump bashing ? can't wait to see your video on this!!!!

That will be super tall gearing, but perfect for say a 1400-1500kv high torque motor in this rig with these tires. 😎💪👊👊

That thing really rips, a hobbystar 4585 and a max6 would probably be epic in that thing. I feel next video youre probably going to be testing it with backflips lol, thats the vibe i get atleast lol

@@richduperbash2966 i definitely think it has potential. I just wish it had a new chassis design instead of using one they already have, or if nothing else atleast have the exb part since its rtr and has an exb feel with the paint scheme

Thanks David 🤗. She's super stable and handles Killer 😍. Air control isn't bad. It's better with a 15-16T pinion with the added wheelspin. The cage does add top weight so you have to account for it trying to pull flips, etc. The wheels honestly seem perfect for this Tactical bruiser 👌. Extremely fast, and no crazy ballooning. I'm super impressed. She isn't built for doing mega sends, really just pure bashing FUN 😍. With an M2C chassis and alloy braces, it would be game on in the gravity department 😱🤣😎💪👊👊

The specs say 2mm longer than the Mojave chassis.not going to buy the rig but I will pick up the body🤪great video

Looks fun ! Hoping they offer that roof panel after market alone lol !! Seems like a wide kit on a mojave and no rubbing ! Has to be stable as long as theres not to much weight up top this could be fun. Also wondering if you bend it ? An exb chassis would of been nice

This sucker is a Blast Michael 😱. Total home run in the Fun factor department 😍. Chassis is still straight, but it will bend if I moon launch it, especially with stock plastic chassis braces. That's just a fact. This is a driver's truck for wicked mixed bashing 🥰🥰. I have my custom Orange Darling XL if I want to go huge off the ramps. 😎💪👊👊

Exb / tal, mojave , outcast already and some Traxxas so i would want to make sure I would drive it enough. That being said Id drive it lol !! Wondering how my castle 1650 monster combo would do in here not sure my Mojave needs it 🤣 could swap

This rig has an exotic body! Not really sure I could take it out and beat on it!!

The body and cage takes a pretty good beating 👍. I've added some rubber washers under some of the body screws after my 2nd and 3rd run. Adding more surface area has helped stabilize and protect the body panels. Very tough truck!!!! 😎💪👊👊

Just an update Andrew, I did a sloppy mud bash today and that did get in the chassis bay 😱🤣🤣. Atleast we know there's good air flow getting to the electronics 👀

Haven't touched the front or rear diffs yet. I'll run it stock, but will atleast add alloy chassis braces for my next outing. I'd recommend that for any basher. If I start really sending this sucker, she'll need a 7075 chassis no question. 😎💪👊👊

I used the stock Spectrum SLT3 radio. AVC is absolutely not necessary with this rig Roy. 😎💪👊👊

Hey rich! in my country the fireteam is around 900USD and i was able to order it from amazon for 606USD.. so almost 300 USD save in my country! I paid 399 for the truck itself + 200 shipping and fees

Yes indeed 👍. Check your temps with an infrared temp gun, but I haven't had any issues with a 16T. Below 150F motor is perfectly fine. I haven't gotten anywhere near that. 😎💪👊👊
