Aaron Kitcher doesn't program drums he can't play
@PotatoSmashGamer
4 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but comparing this video and cuntcrusher, Aaron does more complex stuff (altho this guy does seem to be better at single-hand snare hits (or at least he uses it more frequently)). If you look at Aaron's double-kick speed, it's miles above this guy (again, basing everything off this video). IA's song progression also make way less sense, I don't think there's a part that would repeat twice, which makes the drum pattern harder to remember. Now couple that with a 2 hour show of absolute madness, I feel like it'd be pretty damn hard to pull it off, especially if you gig about every other day.

Amazing and technical superiority. I just think the sound and feel of one-handed 'traditional' is so much nicer. I don't think it's about speed that gives blast-beats their identity or sound I think it's just optimal anything over 250 - hell, the intensity can be shown in 220bpm. It's extremely satisfying to watch this video muted and get the actual album track synced up perfectly with it.
6yrs on and this still blows my drumming mind. That section @ 2:53 is crazy and the consistency is nuts. Spencer is the sickest drummer I’ve ever seen and the one solitary man on planet Earth capable of doing what he does. Edit : Mesmerising.

Aaron Kitcher doesn't program drums he can't play
@PotatoSmashGamer

~Ember I have been listening to metal since 96 and the masculine posturing phase kinda stopped by then because the human speed was finished. Young men want to swing dick but we could all play whole notes at 720bpm. If a metronome is all you got, your career would not last long. He's got great chops. Can't we just enjoy that? Fuck I don't think I would have clicked if it said 175bpm so maybe that's the point 😂

Amazing and technical superiority. I just think the sound and feel of one-handed 'traditional' is so much nicer. I don't think it's about speed that gives blast-beats their identity or sound I think it's just optimal anything over 250 - hell, the intensity can be shown in 220bpm. I'm just saying my personal preference but I am a massive fan and I was absolutely over the moon when I got to see you live and I was like a kid at Christmas: you blew me away with your seemingly effortless performance and I can't thank you enough and you are very unique in your skill set so keep going my man.
