how about we stop punishing the people who are honest hard working people who save and have to pay thousands of pounds to be able to come live and work honestly in the UK and other EU countries. I'm fed up with the easy ride we give certain refugees who arrive here with no documents or any financial aid.

TLDR “💡 The 5-year route to ILR and citizenship is no longer guaranteed, emphasizing the need for immigrants to adapt to longer residency requirements and stricter regulations. This can present challenges and require careful planning. 💡 The increase in minimum residency requirements for British citizenship from 5 to 12 years highlights the UK’s aim to ensure a deeper connection and commitment from applicants. It emphasizes the importance of integrating into British society and understanding its values. 💡 Financial self-sufficiency is a key aspect of the new regulations, with higher income thresholds and additional requirements for dependence. This may pose difficulties for applicants, particularly those from lower-income backgrounds. 💡 The importance of early planning, understanding specific visa requirements, and seeking professional advice cannot be overstated. Navigating the complex landscape of UK immigration requires careful preparation and proactive measures. 💡 The concerns surrounding increased barriers and potential impacts on social cohesion should not be ignored. Balancing the need for secure borders with inclusivity and fairness is crucial in shaping the future of a diverse and welcoming nation. 💡 The UK’s rich traditions of welcoming and benefiting from diverse talents and perspectives are highlighted. Immigrants have played a significant role in shaping the nation, and this new chapter in immigration policy aims to uphold these values. 💡 Staying updated on the latest changes in immigration policies is essential, as regulations in this area are dynamic. Engaging with the community, learning the language, and embracing local customs can also demonstrate a commitment to British society.”

citizenship for foreigners counts for nothing.. if you are a foreigner and acquired citizenship by birth or via long stay it is just a face value... your citizenship can be revoked at any time... only those who are typical English, Scottish Welsh and Northern Irish are exempt cos that is their country... anyone else has roots from another country.. Shemima Begum born and raised in UK and with UK citizenship has her citizenship revoked and now in Syria... If you get indefinite leave to remain you there pretty much have similar freedom as a citizen so why bother getting citizenship when you know very well it's just a symbolic act and holds no value..

I did my university education there, five years. Have no desire to visit nor to live in England. What I like to see, is that they too are blocked from visiting Middle Eastern countries, closing their embassies/spy centres.

The fact you told people that life in the U.K. is build-able. Has me thinking you don’t even live here 😂. Have you really not seen Sweden, Germany, U.K., Ireland(list goes on)countries are full & the countries have had enough, so telling people they can build a life here, wildly misleading. Hence why they’re re looking at legislation. We had a system to bring 6,000 (for care sector)a year but some how it’s 350,000 people. The home office is also going through a massive rework too.

So... You may need more residency time, but maybe not. You may need to meet an income threshold, and we're not telling you what that is, but here is a graph of an arrow going up past one million pounds. You couldn't possibly understand all these mysterious changes, so you'll need an immigration lawyer (and a large bag of money) to sort it out. See you soon, An Immigration Lawyer

It’s very wrong the hard you make it. It will make people more angry and not to trust the government. People will rise up one day they will destroy everything in their way. Than it will be too late to apologise.
