Man, i was looking for a phone for my elderly neighbour and his old Nokia just gave out and this is the one i ordered for him today. Looking at these REALLY makes me miss my old Nokia C1-02 (black) loved that thing!

Very good English speaking voice. Thank you. Using this phone as a international travel phone.

In the Nokia Power User blog it states the battery lasts for "12 hours". Obviously it's a mistake. The actual lasting time is "12 days".

12 hours of calls, if I recall correctly. On stand by, it's around 20 days.

This phone has everything I need from a feature phone, but there is one problem: where can I buy it? I'm in Germany and the official nokia-website doesn't have it on the list, and there are also no other trusted online stores offering it. The internet says the release date was in may, why can't I find it anywhere? :(

AFAIK, most miniature FM receiver designs use a headphone jack as an antenna, which would complicate using Bluetooth headphones for this feature.

No, it had a headjack for that. But the current wireless FM works really good unless you are surrounded by thick walls.

No. Store your music in SD. Play with the MP3 player.

A bit too big for my liking... this thing is as big as the 215/225 4G... would be good if they stuck around with ~110mm height like the old 130

Daar ga ik wel vanuit dat die simlock vrij is. Zo niet, de meeste GSM winkeltjes kunnen hem wel SIMLOCK vrij maken.

How is contact search option in this? Now a days feature phones has complicated contact search pattern especially for Elderly people. We need to type full name for search a contact. But earlier phones has user friendly interface, for example if we want to search alphabet "B" it shows all the contacts starting with "B", but now if you search the same it shows all the contacts with "B".

feature phone e mail synchronization as of now requires you to downgrade the security level. hence not recommended.

This is probably the only good feature phone on the market. But the camera is awful. I wish Nokia introduce a version with a premium camera on it. i know I would be willing to pay alot of extra money for good camera.

For starters they'll have to improve the screen processor and memory as camera is that res for a reason as wouldn't handle any higher

@@user-xl2bo8rh7jmemory yeah, processor or screen no. You can boot up an old windows 98 pc and show a modern picture. It just looks extremely pixelated but it looks fine if you then transfer that to a different device. Downscaling an image isn’t that taxing now days
