Speed Dialing (holding down a number key to dial a specified contact) is a feature my elderly Father finds useful. On the 'Nokia 110 4G VoLTE' it can be assigned/edited under: Contacts Application​ > Menu > Others > Speed Dials although some Nokia's show the setting under Contacts Application​ > Speed Dials

Nice review! How does the call audio quality on VOLTE? This would be a nice phone for me to put on loudspeaker and answer calls when I'm at home

I am an iPhone user, have been since 2008! However, my iPhone XS’s battery is now draining quite fast, but I can hold on until the iPhone 14 Pro arrives! If something does happen to my XS before I can get a 14 Pro, I might pick one of these up so I have something for if I find myself between phones. I do have 2010s Nokia which my Dad originally bought for Glastonbury in 2015, but the 3G network being turned off next year leads me to believe the 2G network may not last much longer either!

When you lock the keypad can you still dial 112 or 999. On some Nokias you can and to me this is a nuisance as I have pocket dialed in the past. Nice to see you back on KZread

Yes you can still dial when locked therefore this would likely pocket dial for you.

I was looking for a phone with only calls and SMS and maybe a camera, without any social media. This one seems pretty good and not expensive ! Plus, and that the reason i'm looking for a new phone, it can call on 4G, which is great because i have a similar nokia that only works on 2G and in France the sunset of the 2G is planed for 2025 :/ (which is a way to force people buying new phones btw) (PS: im french, sorry for the potential misspelling)

For ringtones on Nokia dumbphones I always preferred the original Nokia tone. I just take a downloaded copy of that tone and install it on the newer phone. I have it on my Nokia 3310 3G and Nokia 110 4G phones.

Wish you had shown the menu for getting rid of that annoying plopping sound 😂 but great review, I know it’s not a smart phone but can it run apps?

Hey I’m from the States what SIM card company supports the Nokia 110?

For me is very important a speaker bottom, because I want to use hands-free. I can't use my hand properly, so for me is important a light weight phone with loudspeaker bottom. But on this phone I can't find the loudspeaker bottom. If this doesn't have can you recommend a lightweight nokia for that reason? Or where can I adjust the highest volume with this phone?

I transferred a few books in PDF format from my computer to Ebook file on the SD card. When I go to My files --> Ebook on the SD card, I can see the titles, but when I try to read them, it says "Unsupported format". PDF is a pretty common format; what format do they have to be in , to read them? I tried plain text (.txt file) and that didn't work either.

If you want hotspot you will most likely need a phone with Android or KaiOS (this phone is S30+ OS). It has 4G because as of the 2020s, most providers no longer support 3G.

There's a new verison of this phone out now for an identical price, but with a better camera and larger battery. It isn't even locked to vodafone!

Does someone know how I can search my contacts by their beginletter? When I search for a contact on the Nokia 110 4G, let's say a name that starts with the letter T. When I type the letter T, it doesn't show me the names that start with a T, but it shows me all the names that have a T in them 😪🥲. Really annoying!

Call quality is the same across every brand. It actually has to do with your carrier.

This phone speaker is defective

Not surprised that they still keep using MediaTek's god awful so called "S30+" when it's actually just reskinned MAUI OS for MediaTek feature phones. I wished they could make Series 30 and Series 40 OSes back in development for Nokia feature phone like the good old glory days.

@@champipoy No. Series 40 is functional but very outdated and useless comparing to a modern OS like Android. And it was came from the 99s. Until now, most of functionalities of being an S30 & S40 feature phone is very functional but when it comes stuff related to security like Certificate and web browsing. It's super behind everything else. And most of the time annoying. Not mentioning no one develops apps for J2ME and it was fairly slow for a low specs device. MAUI is even more responsive than that.
