Infinite Power! Looks amazing. Mask Change II or other fusion cards may be a good plug in to avoid Imperms, Effect Veiler, & other targeting negates to get that draw 2 more reliable from Souls. The possibilities are looking really good. Makes Secrets a tiny bit better in our deck as well to use the Souls mid draw as a fusion target to avoid those targeting negates too of course after the opponent targets to avoid the said negate.

The engine has so much damn potential. I can't wait for how much we can get out of this! Here's my thoughts about why they might've decided to run 44 cards based on things I've learned: You could take out 4 cards and make the 40 card deck extremely consistent, but if you don't have enough power in your deck, you're not gonna win many games. You could take Apprentice, x1 Dark Magician, Skill Drain and Effect Veiler out for example to make a super consistent 40 card deck, but now you've just decreased the power ceiling of your deck by taking out 2 effect negates, a DM search and an extra DM. This is not me saying that a 40 card deck is bad. A 40 card deck can be extremely good if you work out the right ratios and have the right combination of cards, but there may be times where adding in an extra card or two or even a few may still be just as good. It might not be as consistent, but the power could pay off well. If a 40 card deck works best for you, go for it! If a 50 card deck works best for you, go for it! If even a 60 card deck works best for you, go for it! The main goal is to figure out what is the most consistent AND the most powerful. That's just my two cents there. Either way, great video LOZA!

Ye the 44 isn't toooo bad just considering theres no way to search Toy Box (outside of normalling soldier which you don't really wanna normal), it's kinda important to open it!

it is cool. Add apprentice to your deck, soul send apprentice, soul cost soldier and tank and draw 2, then tank and soldier were special summoned. Soldier search Cartesia, then tank release special summon apprentice in graveyard. Appreanctive search dark magician. Normal summon Cartesia. At this moment, depending on you, you can do number 41, or 6+4 chaos angel, or use Cartesia effect fusion summon cavalry, or if you have a lot of monster on field link these to link 2 buster dragon then fusion summon dragon knight or dragoon. Depend on your need at that moment

As long as Konami doesn't decide when it gets introduced in TCG to make it a once per turn effect then this combo ends there

I just wanna know how dm can go against these lightsworn decks now

If only tricore gadget was a light monster instead of earth. Doesnt make sense its part of the gold sargph of light cards but isnt light. Other combos you can do is get the tachyon cloud dragon lvl 4 which SS it for a rank 4 xyz for 3 ptolemous into nova and infinity. Could also get silent sword for a spell negate since toy soldier is a warrior that can be tribute. Worse case scenario run 3 apprentice magician and if you hard draw it, you can make chaos angel.

There's a bit of potential with that summoning a level 6 or lower monster. I just can't think of anything in the DM engine that's worth summoning under level 6. DMG?

Summoning Apprentice isn't bad, you get to search DM! haha

Okay so I actually just sat down and looked at all of the "level 4 light" monsters in the game. Barrier statue is good but why are there so many level 4 light floodgates??? Denko, Rai-Oh, the Silent monsters aren't floodgates but they spell negates. And one of them floats into a floodgate. lol The archetype being light gives us access to Chaos monsters/combos. We can search Wyverbuster. This opens up so many cool ideas.

@@hildemaromeneses6225 correct! But they are special summons and Toy Soldier provides a warrior for Silent Swordsman and all of DM provides spellcasters for Silent Magician

Wouldn’t this engine also allow you to search quem or cartesia in the branded DM version?

It's insane how generic this engine is. Both monsters are also level 4, so free level xyz from them. I also checked all the level 4 Light monsters and people are going to go crazy with this engine. We can make S:P + Bagooska or end on 3 negate Apo made with I:P + Dogmatika Punishment just off Toy Box and Souls. Obviously, we can do a lot more as well, since we will have another 5 cards in hand. Let's not forget we have as well the Diabellstar engine, which can helps us set up more interruptions, send a Toy Box monster to the GY if we don't open Souls and in general help us bait negates before we use our Souls and other effects.

Toy Box engine is so amazing, the issue is that it isn’t searchable(without a normal summon) Light Barrier also loses to Nib still There’s a way to summon Master Dragon Magia with Toy Box + Magicians’ Souls too
