I wasn't fond of the Altair Class upon first view. Seeing it in action has changed my mind. I would love to see the Altair Class pit against the Scimitar.

I think it's the Enterprise J without the saucer section! It certainly looks like a flying eagle, thanks for sharing that. It's a cool ship. I could certainly imagine seeing 2 of these escorting an Enterprise J Universe Class. 🖖

Sisko voice: Technically, it's an escort class. 😄 That tiny ship really packs a punch. I forgot to comment on the name, but Altair was the planet from Forbidden Planet... the show that possibility inspired Star Trek.

It's a really nice ship. According to another comment, somebody said the J was designed to carry these ships! How freaking big is that ship? 😮😂

There is another class of ship, sister to the Universe Class, that has one of these as the Secondary Hull in the appropriate scale of course.

Oh Cool! Was that one of the prototypes for the Enterprise J? I recall seeing one of these with an extra bit on top. Will have to see if it's in Bridge Commander 🖖
