If they had included working taillights, an opening hood and an interior, this would have been a home run! For my money, I would have to go a different direction as us "scalers" are picky and value conscious. That being said, it looks great and looks like a good performer.

Price wise it's not much cheaper than a custom build from Horizon Hobby. No inner fenders, proline shocks and tires, painted body and visible body clips. Not trying to knock them or anyone who thinks about purchasing one however in my opinion they missed the mark. The body is very nice, I love the older truck bodies! Appreciate the content and video! 👍

Body clips for the Anniversary Truck? Axial dropped the ⚽️! My brand new Traxxas High Trail doesn’t have clips on it.

Seeing that I turn 40 this month I was really eyeing this truck but they missed the mark. The proline extras are great but the choice of electronics....

RCDriver video 👍. Horizon Hobby attempt to make a “new” truck 👎. For $600, I’d get a phoenix with a brushed system. The body is nice, but they left so many things “phoned in”. No inner fenders, no interior, no drop bed, no working taillights, body clips, etc.

#10 nice low number. Good looking truck. Always did like the step sides. Like button energized.

For the value it’s not worth it. Body is nice but for $549 you can get the bronco with more features…truck body is cool but as others are saying it’s missed the mark on this guy.

should have got straight axles and maybe some Bf Goodrich A/T tires

Add some silver stripes and a chrome roll bar, and you'd have John Bakers truck from "CHiPs".(a lot of you won't get that). Yeah, it's a lot of money, but... it's not something everyone else will show up with. Add the shocks, wheels/ tires & body up, yeah, it's still a $400 "base camp". That said,...I like it.

Why would Pro- Line use body pins when they make the threaded cap ones ?

best number would be 1982/1982 i wish im lucky enough to get it, alr ordered one, pretty worth it in my opinion cuz its basically a bse camp with proline upgrades and if you add all the parts together if you were to upgrade a base camp using the same parts, its still cheaper to buy this k10 proline one, actually add the parts yourself if you dont believe

My father had a 1982 C10, so I'm a bit partial to the stepside. I just received my truck today, but it's going to remain in the box.

I don't like step side beds so its as big no for me. It is till very nice regardless. Do you save money vs buying the upgrades to a base truck?

Body clips? A swing and a miss Axial. I'm loving my SCX6 Trail Honcho however. Home run there.

Nice looking truck, but Axial is outside they damn minds charging $600 for that! I'll have the Axial early Bronco and save myself $50

$200 over a stock base camp. This setup would cost more to replicate buying the parts separately plus the custom painted body

the mods i prefer to change the wheel to some high mass, second better servo, rip the electronics those are garbage fusion 2 in 1, overgearing front, undergearing rear, some brass front only, better radio, and dual stage foam

I somehow won one of these in a local community raffle... I've never had a real "shelf queen" until now.

It is a nice truck, but too many 💰💰💰 to spend right now.

As much as I love old Stepside square bodies and this being an anniversary limited edition, Axial dropped the ball. Good tires and shocks, basic electronics, super basic radio... It's a Base Camp with a couple minor upgrades for almost 6 bills. First, the re-release of the much hyped Deadbolt. And now, this. Axial, you guys a ruling on your 6th scale stuff but, your 10th scale arena... You're leaving a little to be desired in the ingenuity area. Give us something new, please.

Portals was the complete wrong way to go with this truck IMO. Should have been a straight axle kit.

Yeah that's a huge no thanks for me. I would've rather got the April fool's day trailer park four runner for that kinda moolah

Well someone buy it sale me the body. Lol don't need a number on my rigs to commemorate 40 years. Have proline hyraxes. TO HELL WITH BODY CLIPS. Comment on this Traxxas K10 or this Limited edition. Lol definitely wouldn't buy this rig and scratch that body.

This is pretty stupid. Let's release a new body or paint scheme for different models every few months with a limited run and call it limited edition adding $100 or more for a metal coin and no performance or design changes? No.

Absolutely No! $600 for what? The price is Outrageous! And no it's not a collectable that's gonna gain in value. Knock about $200-300 off it and maybe it's worth it.
