A totally unexpected blog on a great shop prices are cheaper than back here in uk although Aldi is still cheap prices going up all the time , strangely fascinating looking at a Spanish Aldi fabulous if self catering , would certainly give it a go lol recognised most products to be fair , am afraid I would of done a Laura and danced for them beds there so cool 😎 and a great price well done guys , my husband wants to know though can you get clover in Tenerife ??? Only have clover in our house for many years now , once again great vlog 😀👌

I love our Aldi in Upstate NY ! We don’t have a fresh bakery though. Once in awhile I get something we don’t like but they have some many other good things it’s always worth going. Love the middle aisle merch !

As a fellow resident...We went to Aldi at the weekend just to have a look and compare prices. Definitely agree with you and will be sticking to Mercadona and Hiperdino. Even things on offer there are the same price or cheaper in the other supermarkets. I was laughing about the middle isle though because I was exactly the same as Laura and my other half was exactly the same as you 🤣

Love a good aldi shop. Prices seem relatively same to UK. Well done for routing out some bargains in the middle aisle Laura, I have to admit I tend to shop at asda (more gluten free range) but go to aldi for a middle aisle gander. 🤣 xx

Seemed about right on prices,the jar of original coffee in lidl is sometimes £3.99 or £4.49 but obviously prices going up everyweek,that coke zero I'm pretty sure that would have been 1.81 for 1 2l bottle not for 4,21 quid on a floating woman in a pool🤣sounds like a bargain 🤔😉😁the middle isle looks better than ours and more stock but personally I think stuff in the middle isle isn't cheaper than anywhere else,cheers guys👌👍

Good vlog, nice to see Spanish Aldi. Lots of different brands to our local store. Only thing here that drives me nuts is they keep opening then closing the tills. We are opening till 3, then a few minutes after, we are closing till 2, we are opening till 1, we are now closing till 3 (that we only just opened) Rant over lol I bet you have to get your frozen goods home quickly there as they will defrost

I really detest having to go do my food shop but I love watching shopping vlogs like this… weird eh? 🤣The fruit and veg aisle looks similar to my local Aldi, but so many products are different. I wish we had a juicer and bakery in mine. Thank god for the middle aisle, it keeps hubby occupied while I crack on with the important stuff haha.

Those Aldi stores in spain are from Aldi Nord and the Aldi we have in the UK are Aldi Sud. The brothers fell out a long time ago and split the company into Nord/North and Sud/South. Aldi is short for Albrecht Diskont. That is why the Logo is different lol so not retro just Aldi Nord😂 , Love your videos 😀

I love Aldi and Lidl..... I cook everything from scratch though so that is healthy as I do low carb/Keto too aswell and also helps keep the shopping bill down on mass by freezing batch cooking.. 👍 You should do some cooking videos on this cos ppl LOVE this type of thing seriously 😉 Especially where you are and for ppl how to cook when they go self catering in Tenerife etc 👍 That tiny 🛒 is like what my bf says about me!! 🤣 Striding on with you guys x x 👏 👏

Recently moved to Spain but found the Spanish Aldi more expensive than the UK one. Aldi has 2 divisions, Aldi Nord and Sud. UK is Aldi Sud, Spain Aldi Nord. I think Nord is slightly more upmarket. I will stick with Mercadona and visit the mystery aisle occasionally.

The difference in the Logo is due to the fact that ALDI is split into 2 companies ALDI Nord and ALDI Sud, The UK is served by ALDI Sud whilst Spain is served by ALDI Nord and they have different logos.

I work for the UK Aldi, I can't believe how different the store and fittings are from ours You'd think theyd be sort of similar. Other than the fresh products most products seem around the same price!

I love that aquArus. always called it Aqua Rus though 🤣Im addicted to Ron Meil Artemi. Loads of Restraunts serve you it after your meal. Was about 8 euro a bottle in the Hyper DIno last time i was there a few years ago 😩 1.36 for 6 Corona. 1.47 for 6 desperado's. gotta be a typo. Im on my way 🤣 few thousand liters of water from mercadona will save enough for Laura to get the Paddle boards with all those saved 10cents 👍

Seems reasonable prices for 2022 comparable to the UK . A lot of my family live in Sarasota FL, the supermarkets are eye-watering there, never use to be the case...The Aldi sign is Aldi Nord (north) the UK displays Aldi Sud (South) if different signs in different locations

I visited an Aldi in northern Spain. It was in a residential area so no inflated tourist prices. I deliberately compared prices against the items that I get in my UK aldi. Everything was more expensive than the UK, even fruit that was obviously grown nearby. Example was peppers, 42p each over here compared to 2.99 euros for 3. Petrol was 2.11 euros, fairly similar to UK. As a non drinker i can't comment on booze which is heavily taxed in the UK.

Really interesting vlog. I get that gluten-free Dr Oetker pizza regularly in the Uk it’s pretty good. Can usually get it for around £3.00 in Morrisons. Would have been good to have seen som gluten-free beer prices - Spain usually has a better range than the UK. Not keen on that Aldi logo - looks dated ! 😄

Interesting vlog to compare with other ALDI stores as most stores try to source local products Prices compare similar to Ireland though their own brands seemed in some areas more expensive Like the chicken A lot more international brands there The alcohol section was priced much less than ireland though ! Lol .. Laura was like me in those middle isles 😂 as some of those products were great especially that chair ! Great watch Thank you xx👍👍💕

That Aldi is Aldi Sud, the other logo you see in the UK and other countries that have both is Aldi Nord. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 2 brothers jointly owned Aldi, but fell out and split, hence Aldi Sud and Aldi Nord Incidentally, Aldi Nord in Austria is known as Hofer.

Are the multipack drink prices for the full packs or single bottles? I know that in France and Belgium you are allowed to break open the multipacks and take single bottles.

Actually not a lot of people realise that its two different companies. We have aldi South over here in the uk and Ireland then Aldi north is mainly European. The two brothers couldn't agree which direction to take the company many years ago so they formed two seperate Aldi's

There are two ALDI companies .. founded by two brothers who went separate ways .. that’s why two logos … Meat prices higher than Ireland but beer and wine so cheap by our standards. A lot more international brands there and no compared to ALDI in Ireland .. but no “Specially Selected”

I’ve never used Aldi but I plan to soon as the other supermarkets are beyond a joke with their prices. Unfortunately they don’t deliver so I’ll need someone to collect for me. I sent my car back to Motability as it was on my drive and not getting used. I can always get another if my circumstances change.

people in England dont realise your not supposed to bag your shop at the checkout, they hoy it through so you can take it in your trolley to the bagging area. Everyone tries to bag it at the till though 🤣 water mellon Bargain. Just me who calls blackberries Brambles? Never rated Aldi/lidl meats

Hi Andrew, thanks for the video. The reason the sign is different is that there are two different Aldi's. Aldi Nord and Aldi Sur. They split in the 1960's. funnily enough the Canary Islands company is Aldi Nord and the one's in UK are Aldi Sur! For geekage here is the Wiki article. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldi
