That double down is hard! I had like 15 hc cards, and i hit Adley, and Polar Bear, those were the only 2, that i didnt double down, on! The rest, no-can-do! 😂

Because there are so many different variations based on which format you open, I decided to stick with just Hangers for Series 1 and it worked out well. I hit all the different SP's except the Golden Mirrors, and even a Platinum RC 1/1. I haven't hit a single Golden Mirror this year or last out of retail, and I have ripped a ton of it. Hobby seems to be the way for those if you are chasing. I'll probably stick with hangers to start with Series 2 as well.

@@Dickiesmallthe mini Kevin Harts are on the Phillies cards and they sell for like $200-$300 a piece last time I looked.

2024 base set is really an attractive set, both design wise and photo wise. What I do wish though is that Topps would put some effort into the back of the cards, it's a shame each year the back looks the same even though it's 50 percent of the real estate of the card.

FYI fanatics has the blasters online.

I like the SNA card. It is the closest airport 3 letter designation. SNA is John Wayne airport.

Love the classic 89 design autographs. 89 was the year I got into baseball cards big time. I thought buying 12 89 topps boxes at $11.95 each was the start of my retirement fund 🤦‍♂️😫

Im not sure ehy prople have been complaining zbout the base rookoe checklist....we csn say it may be top end pitcher heavy, but the Japanese guys will sell and Harrison has Ace "stuff", not to mention the hitters rookies have a handful of potential stars in a few years. As long as the SP rookies arent like 1 in 5 cases, this should be a very intriguing set!

Apparently Churio, Merrill, and Langford are unlisted SPs in this release but who knows, great vid Stryker!

Mine has been with FedEx since Thursday. Zero updates since. I'm hoping it gets here on Wednesday for the release. But Topps likes to screw that up at times. I just like ripping flagship Topps. Very nostalgic for me.

Its weird that they decided to change the rainbow foil design between series 1 and 2... series 1 had the black border along the top with the foil but series 2 doesnt have that same black border anymore 🤔

Neither, Series 1 & 2 are junk wax, unless you hit a monster card, you're not gonna get anything of value, spend your money on something better like Inception or or bowman where you can hit better players more easily.
