I have Rexton 7 seats 2014 which is a very good car but this one looks very nice. Hope will be able one day to buy a new one.

But unlike the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Kia Sorento, the Rexton is actually a proper 4X4 with low range and actually has off-road capabilities. The Rexton also comes in a dual-cab (crew cab) pick-up truck version called the Rexton Sports (or Musso/Rhino)

The exterior reminds me of Landcruiser/HyundaiSantaFe/ToyotaRaptor while the Interior is very similar to Mitsubishi Outlander.

What put me off was the sound of the horn!

I really like this Rexton! But if I really wanted a body on frame SUV in Korea, I'd buy the new Mohave. Soooo nice!

Hi, test drove the Rexton Ultimate 2021 yesterday. There was a constant bumping/vibration that even made the legs vibrate. Even the salesman felt it. Back to the dealer, the salesman took it straight to the workshop to check the wheel alignement. We haven't tested after that. Did anyone had that problem? THanks

Mercedes is a supplier for some spare parts so I am not surprised that they have also worked on the design or at least gave them some blueprints.

How about in the Philippines?

can someone tell me why the blinkers at the back on the bumper? I never understood why Asian cars have that. It is even dangerous because when I am driving behind the car you cant always see if they are blinking especially when the car is not very clean (bumpers get dirty very quickly). It is a mystery for me.

I am waiting for Ssang Yong GB to replace my 2 year old engine for this model, at the moment they are refusing, snapped con rod in sealed engine, 2 days before its 2nd birthday and it had a 5 year unlimited mile warranty, Ssang Yong GB so far refusing to re-engine or assist me in any way.

Such a big beefy vehicle lol. Does it compete with Santa Fe/Sorento? Also, I hope that music when you enter the car can be turned off. It'll probably get annoying after awhile.

Its not looking good for SsangYong They just owe & have lost waay to much money & no one wants to get involved because of this & their staunch workers union & even if this tiny Californian auto distributor (HAAH) does buy them out (which is looking more unlikely at this stage as HAAH want the KDB (Korean Development Bank) to match their stake but are refusing to fund) HAAH simply haven't the massive amount of money needed to develop new models They want to assemble them in the USA & Brand them as "Vantas"..I've just recently sold my S.Yong Tivoli XLV new from 2016 sorry to say but was probably one of the worst mechanically cars I've ever owned.

The Rexton actually uses a seperate horn for the alarm system. I own a 2019 Musso (aka Rexton Sports, which is the ute/pick-up truck version of the Rexton) and there are two horns, the main horn and the alarm horn.

Indian car makers seem to make desirable looking cars outside it's own country but f***** up the design on its cars in India lol.

A small US Auto distributor (HAAH)is the only one on the scene but that deal is looking increasingly doubtful because HAAH want the KDB (Korean Development Bank) to match them financially in their bid to buy S.Y motors Even if HAAH succeed they haven't got the cash nor the know-how to develop new models
