I am 71 years young! I am a mother of a son who is married and has 3 children. He is such a help to his wife with cleaning and trying to keep things nice and tidy. I am so proud of him.

Haha...my childhood memory. My Mom taught her 4 kids to move our arms and legs like we're making angels in the snow...while we are still in bed and it straightened all the blankets. Then slide out. It works! Your boys might have fun with that one.

Oh, I love when you said that if it takes longer than 5-10 minutes to clean, you may have too much stuff 💡 I realize it's something very simple but I think we forget - especially when we live in a world of constant consumerism. Thank you for that.

Two of our grown children have thanked us for having them do household chores. They did cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc. They were on a rotating schedule of chores, cooking etc. They see young adult friends who live in messy homes and who don't cook. Lol, my son cleans his apartment before his fiance goes to visit him. [They get married in August!] Thanks for sharing and the Lord bless you!

I love this! Great tips! I read in a blog once to try not to leave a room empty handed, so that helps me! I have four children who seem to travel so many things to different rooms. Laundry is definitely the chore I dread the most. I can do the washing, it's the folding and putting away that I stuggle with! On the days that I get caught up I can usually keep up for about a week, then a pile seems to creep up on me! Lol

You really are giving encouragement Lyn. Sometimes life gets in the way, things come up and if your house is always rather tidy it is easier to weather the storms and times you just can't do your housework.

Great video, your cleaning videos are my favorite! Just yesterday I saw someone put "cleaning the toilet" as a chore that should be done daily, and I never knew that, I've always been obsessive about scrubbing the bathroom weekly, that was my weekly chore as a child, but never thought about just giving it a quick clean everyday, awesome daily habits Lynette, you're an inspiration!

This was really motivating and helpful for me. I have 4 kids, and we really struggle to keep the house decently clean. I watched once for me and once with each of my kids who is old enough to help. They always ask why they have to clean every day 😂 so I showed them what your boys do everyday and how quick and simple it is. We are going to try it! I'd love more videos of how you involve your boys in cleaning!

Hello Lynette. Mom taught me from the time I was little to make my bed when I wake up. I still do. She also taught me to do the dishes when everyone was done at the table. I can remember standing on the chair at the sink helping Mom. My Mother in law always did her pots & pans before the meal was served I now do that as well. I am already on Hannah's channel. I love learning from other women. On another note we are to get snow in higher elevations tomorrow. The sky is filled with sunshine today, but it is so windy things are blowing all over. Have a lovely Saturday evening & a Blessed Sunday ! ( Judy )

Since I work the 5 days, I wake up before I shower and do the bed. My Husband makes my breakfast since he is disable now and later when he gets back from walking me to the bus he does the dishes, he also takes care of them in the evening. I sweep before I dress up , the living room , dining room and kitchen. Then wash my hands and pray with my Husband and have Breakfast. When I get home I wipe the bathroom with Clorox wipes and tidy up the bathroom and my room a little more, then cook . I basically fall out in the evening because I take care of Bed bound Elderly patients. On Saturdays I do the major cleaning, dusting organizing cleaning out the fridge mopping and laundry and groceries. It seems a women's work is never done.

My husband started the habit of picking up toys with our 4 year old fairly early on. Some days it’s annoying because it’s a fight but it certainly is so refreshing to wake up to a house free of clutter. If I’m not too tired during that, it’s a nice time to pick up other parts of the house or the last of the dishes at the same time. I’m bad at picking up/cleaning as I go, especially with a baby but I’m hoping it gets easier. Also your house and dishware is so beautiful! It has a peaceful vibe.

It’s nice you get your kids involved in the cleaning, organizing and picking up after themselves. Trust me your are doing awesome👍, you’ll have great results. That’s it what I did with my two boys from a very young age and now that they’re teenagers I hardly have to do anything for them, the only thing I have to remind them its to pass the vacuum in their room 😉. However, the bed and room always organize and clean. 🙋🏻‍♀️

This really helped me as I didn’t get the training as a kid and so I struggle once I get behind . I am trying to start with my boy too so he can learn too.

Thank you for sharing your routine. I agree that it's important to get your family involved and slowly building these habits in your children. My son, now 11, empties and loads the dishwasher each day without being asked. Through guidance and support we can build good habits. Have a great day.

I enjoyed ur video. I am very much like u when it comes to picking up as u go n definitely before going to bed in the evening. I like my kitchen clean no dishes laying around but boy what I would give to have a dishwasher. I also like my bed made it just looks better n it makes me feel better. I also tried to my 2 boys when they were younger to pick up aft themselves. Unfortunately it didn’t stick to good after they got older n involved in sports. Oh well, I tried. Ur video truly showed a lot of great ideas n thank u for it.♥️

Once again thank you for sharing. You are the Proverbs 31 Woman. It feels so nice to wake up to a clean kitchen. As I wipe down counters, I picture you doing the same. Thank you for the inspiration. Don't you think it gives us more energy to wake up to a clean kitchen? Even if I'm tired at the end of the day, I push myself to clean, because it's wonderful to walk into to a clean kitchen at 5:45 a.m. ☕🌞

I love your home. I am the same way. I can not sleep if my house is a mess. I have 2 girls and I have them pick up after themselves too. Now the problem is getting my husband to pick up after himself (lol). Be blessed.

Laundry is my nemesis 😭 I usually do one/two loads a day but find it so hard to fold and put it away. The older two wear uniforms so in school time it's really not too bad. We've just finished Easter holidays two weeks off and my washing pile is sky high and that's with a load a day 😭 your home is beautiful 😍
