Wow... that's built much better than the cheap lights I got. Very nice video.

The pulley system that allows you to raise and lower the light seems very convenient. My seedling lights are fixed so I have raise and lower the seedling trays which isn’t ideal.

that's a nice grow light you should be able to grow some nice plants for spring with that light

Great review! Be careful when measuring temperature on shiny/metallic surfaces. They usually give inaccurate readings due to low emissivity. That's why the stickers are registering warmer than the back. Try to measure off matte/dull surfaces for higher emissivity and more accurate readings.

Nice I hope I can get one of these. Can you make a video of when you start seeds? I’m also in NC but starting them is when I get somewhat confused.

The only issue MANY of my friends have had with this type of grow light is it actually is too strong at similar distances. Friends have had to move their LED lights farther away then the fluorescent lights. Your seedling cabinet may not afford that luxury. I agree with previous poster about a trial run to test the set up. Love your videos and set up. Thanks for making them!

Yeah I’ve been trying to use the updated version of this light it’s a little difficult to dial in it definitely needs to be 30” or more away from seedlings

@@yaboi1474Spiderfarmer do 60cm long 33W strip light LEDs which are Perfect for seedlings clones or early veg stage. Between 6 and 12inches is ideal distance for those. Another company makes 20W full spectrum LED's for £11 and those have been brilliant, 40W provide enough light for seedling and early veg growth over a 2x1.5ft area

I have the 4000. It’s insane For some reason basil doesn’t do well with it though. I am growing a cucumber , tomato’s, Tyme, and other herbs very well. Oh and snow peas that are producing.

hi, i read that four TS-600 lights would be good for a 4'x4' area. One thing i saw was a guy likes running a bunch of these TS600s because he had a big HPS lamp go down and the entire room went dark for days. With multiple 100 watt lights if one light goes down there are others that keep the room going.

They are great lights, i just finished a 3 foot Purple Punch and a 13 inch Grape ape with 5 big colas using the ts600. In a 2×2 closet.

I see you have a fan in your growing chamber. Do you run this 24/7??

Reflective aluminum foil would work better than white paint. Also, the plants will grow faster with these LEDs, you may want to adjust when to start seedlings as you they may out grow your space before temperature is right to be transplanted.

Compare lifetime of various lights?

6:19 in your video what are those links holding it up? What did you swap out? And is it more sturdy?

i used some small sections of chain. it holds the light up higher than the stock wire hooks.

hi, yes this light is very strong and bright. it has spectrum good for veg and flower.

The single IR red light only appears dim to human eyes because its a light range we cannot see well, it doesn't mean its actually dim. Very important to plants for flowering

So what, this lamp is only strong enough for seedlings? Are there people who did a full cycle with this lamp? If so how many grams did the yield was?

What Lumens were the prev bulbs and what Lumens is the new light panel?

Photosynthetically active radiation or PAR is measured in micromoles and is a a better indicator of the effectiveness of a grow light than lumens, which is simply a measurement of light visible to the human eye rather than to plants. The CFLs claim to put out more lumens than they do but it's still a fraction of the nearly 13k lumens this led produces. Maybe 1k or so lumens if I recall per 42w CFL.

Use white enamel paint it gives a better result than left over Christmas paint 😂

Those led fixtures go around 10,000 hours then they die i bought couple im not fan of changing fixtures every few years,its like ford eco boost after 85000k boosters goes then you need new engine,i rather use compact fluorescent or t8,cheers.

So we all switched from incandescent bulbs to ~5W LED so we could get rid of those energy hungry, hot 100W bulbs. But now .. people start using 100W LEDs .. so then we're back at the same energy consumption.

yes, this 100 watt LED light puts out as much light as an 250 watt HPS lamp. The amount of light output is much higher than a 100 incandescent bulb. More light = faster and stronger plant growth. Thanks

Solo per questo lo sconsiglio e non riesco a capire come sia possibili dire che questo sia un buon prodotto. probabilmente l hai solo montata senza mai utilizzarla
