NEVER Weave in Ends Again… Granny Square Edition

NEVER weave in Ends Again… Granny Square Edition…
I’m calling this The Not Your Granny’s Granny Square, because I do thing’s completely different than what you may have seen online. I have never been a fan of weaving in ends, so I made a way to NEVER have to weave in ends again, regardless of how many times you change color.
I hope you enjoy/enjoyed this video, if you did, all the likes, subscribes and comments are appreciated and most welcomed… ❤️

Hi Charlotte, I stopped watching for a bit just to say...your the best..I don't really fancy granny squares but after seeing how yours don't have those gaping holes which I don't like...so I'm going to make a blanket using this method that you use ..it's gorgeously beautiful indeed Please keep up the good work because I have been searching for months on end, but o no avail...but now I met you making this beautiful granny square ...Thank You so much❤ May your creativity and your hands stay blessed forevermore ❤❤🙏

This is definitely not boring for me. I see I’ve been placing my needle in the wrong place for my double crochet. Believe me your time and detail was greatly appreciated.

I love this. I have searched the whole morning for a sewfree Granny Square option and was not happy with neither of the countless I have watched. This is perfect. Though, I have modified your way of joining rounds with the one I am used to. Thank you for sharing this!

Charlotte, I feel like I'm six months late to the party! Thank you for this helpful, careful, and enjoyable tutorial. I eager to try it out! I've got a square, glass jar with a lid...it's about five inches square, about seven inches high. My plan is to join granny squares to make a cozy for it. Your tutorial has inspired me!

Thank you! After seeking out numerous granny square “how to” videos, I can say this is THE ONE! Eliminating those unnecessary chains, or reducing the number makes it easier and faster. The color change and hiding the ends is so efficient. The border is an appreciated extra!

Hi there, I know you were explaining what you were doing but I always want to know the 'why'? So when you joined with a hdc at the end of the first round, why do you do it that way instead of joining with a slip stitch? I came to this video, firstly because I thought you were reviewing the new 'all in one granny square yarn' by the same brand it turns out that you were using, but now am just intrigued to watch the rest of the video to see how you did your square and also because I much prefer the look of your non-gappy square without all the spaces in between, that to me looks so much nicer and neater than the traditional version with all the gaps! Thanks so much! 😊🙏🏻

You didn’t put a second set of 3 DC in the last corner. Was that a mistake or is that corner supposed to have only one set of 3 DC? The last corner actually looks different than the other 3 corners.

I love this method of hiding/knotting the tails but the corner where the color change happens always looks like there are 4 double crochets on one side due to the beginning chain 2. Can I just count that chain 2 as the first dc of the cluster of 3?

Hi again, just still curious to know, what is the reason that you join your rounds with a half double crochet instead of a slip stitch? I like the look of doing it this way but just wanted to know the reason and how you came up with this method please?

I was wondering the same thing. Also, in an older video, she joins with a sc. And she doesn't count the 2 ch at joins as a stitch in her new method. Hope she answers!

Hi, can i ask why you don't crochet the last 3dc in the last corner. I noticed you started with 3dc then crochet round making 3dc chain1 3dc in 3 corners but not the first or last where you joined to finish. Thank you. Just curious x
