If you have not bought a C Stand with wheels before, it will seriously improve your workflow and efficiency. The wheels make it super easy to wheel it in, pop your camera on for an overhead shot, then wheel it out of the way for your regular video.
Setup was super simple and one in about 3 minutes without the need for any tools. Everything is hand tightened with turning knobs. It has a spring loaded center column, which is great to prevent hard drops while your gear is attached.

I'd recommend mounting the shaft side of the gobo head onto the stand and use the clamping side to connect to the boom pole. It's a lot safer and secure. I imagine they sent the gobo heads on the boom arm like that just to keep it all together.

Trust me I know the struggle lol. I can't believe how easily this thing moves around. It really saves me lots of time now with shooting top down shots for unboxings.
Can it hold large softboxes as Elinchrom 175cm?

Hi @Petra, yes it should be able to hold large softboxes. I hang my camera with a heavy Sigma lens off the end of it, which weighs at least 5 pounds with a video monitor without any issues. You just have to ensure that your softbox and light combo can be attached to the 1/4 or 3/8 thread at either end of the boom arm.

Wheels on a c stands doesn’t roll freely with one hand. You need two hands to move it. I made a mistake of buying one like that. Flashpoint wheelbase is better!

Hey Yuvak, this C stand seems to roll freely with one hand for me if I leave the wheel locks off so far. I also only have one camera, lens and monitor, so it isn't too heavy right now. I haven't used a Flashpoint with wheels, but I have a rebranded Flashpoint from Canada that has better build quality than the Neewer C Stand for sure. Glad you're enjoying the Flashpoint stand :)
