Steve have you tried Cannon bars any? I got a 28inch duralite very pricey but definitely a lot tougher than Sugi Tsumura or Stihl. As long as I don't run it over with a piece of equipment I think it should get 3x the life of the other brands but time will tell

No iv never tried them. All I run is sugi on my husky and stihl bars on my stihls. Had a old Oregon bar laying around and now I remember why I never used it before. They are trash

Back yrs ago in the late 80s we greased them every time we filled up with gas and oil.that made no difference in lifetime.neither does not greasing them .we tried it both ways ,no difference!

I’ve started greasing mine the last 2 year ever 2nd or 3rd sharpen but I don’t see that it’s lengthening my bar life I’ll probably quit when I go through the ones I have on current y’all have a good one

@@stevebillow395 yeah I've never used anything but 0.50. figured higher gauge is just more weight I'd rather get a little less life out of a bar and chain and travel lighter
