The value of junk all depends on who's land it sits on. That looks like junk junk, but the junk on my land ain't junk. 😀

It's good to see a timber feller that gives a crap about the trees you're not harvesting, too many folks out there that just butcher the woods and don't care. Nice job on the explanation of your swing method too.

Hey Steve I’m a new sub. I came over here from watching Pete’s channel. I’ve mentioned to Pete already but I’m trying to breakthrough in this industry and get out of my corp job. I’m in PA and most jobs I’ve done are more the typical cutting jobs, but lately I’ve been working with another logger on jobs like this. I call them the hybrid jobs, there’s tree service work and typical logging work. They can be a bit technical at times. A few weeks a ago I whispered the transmission lines 😬, all good tho. Thanks for sharing , and I k ow ain’t easy especially in those circumstances. Lastly, bidding those hybrids, I’m still trying to figure out🤯.

Steve don’t you be hitting that old pile of junk!! Lol that’s so freaking funny!! Some people really think all the trash they have is worth millions!!! I guess they do say one mans junk is another mans pride and joy!! It just makes me even wonder what the moron was thinking for real!!! My goodness people you aren’t going to live for ever, you aren’t going to be able to take it with you when you pass so why not just get rid of it when someone asks you if you would be interested in getting rid of it and what you might want for it!! My dad had some big 14”x14” square pieces of treated wood that I could have used for a project around my place he wasn’t even using them and today he still isn’t using them and they are just rotting away when they could be used for something good instead of going to waste!! Heck he just got them off of a job that he was doing for a bank!!! It was used for a cool looking bridge over a small stream that went threw there land scape!!!
