Doc Brown, took the last three issues of Batman #27 1939. Out a time! Anyone wanting to go back in time, be sure to have the exact change with the correct year on it.

i had a tear!! my first comic con was nyc in 1979,i was 14 and i was lucky enough to see someone pull the Detective 27 and a Captain America #1 from a briefcase.The Cgc carrier of its time lol. Also met Jack Kirby and L.B Cole at one of those awesome shows.

To authenticate this picture look at the shelf below the Detective 27s. Action Comics #12 which has an advertisement for Detective 27!

If I had a time machine I'd Go back to the 30s and Get myself a Detective Comic's #27 and all American Comic's #1

The Jumbo was definitely cool. Sheena made her 1st appearance in Jumbo. The Fritzi is strange because Fritzi Ritzi didn't come out until 1948, so not sure what it could be. The Gang comic is probably "Gang Busters Large Feature Comic #10" and the other obvious ones are: The Funnies #31 from May 1939 and All American Comics #3 (First appearance of Abigail Mathilda "Ma" Hunkel, who becomes Red Tornado in issue 20).

I love seeing racks of comics in old pictures! That’s: The Funnies #31, Jumbo Comics #8 (With a masthead ad for The World’s Fair out of the picture), and All-American Comics #3. Still working on the others. Star Comics #20 (thanks to another comment). They seem to all be dated May, 1939. Do you think there might be comics on that newsstand, no copies of which still exist?

I want to be a time traveler, go back in time, and buy all three copies. Sell two copies, keep one for myself, and retire. 😊😊😊😊

It's mind-blowing to think that those books sitting on the shelf in 1938 are worth a total of 30 cents.. now, like u said, they are worth about $20 million in today's money.. from 30 cents to $20 million🙌🙌

They're up here! Scroll down and keep an eye on the video lengths, if it's longer than like 20 minutes it's a podcast. We try and film them every two weeks but with conventions we're getting a bit scrambled up

Ahh back when people would read and treat comics as they were intended .

There is an old twilight zone episode that shows a news stand that showed a newsstand that had copies of like amazing fantasy 15 and other marvels that were out that month. Love seeing old photos and videos like this

There is an episode of Twilight Zone showing AF15 on a news stand. I've seen that episode twice. The brief segment may be on KZread.
