Wow I just quit my job on Friday so this really hits close to home. I was underappreciated, stressed out and I just felt that I was wasting my life there. Every weekend, I dread the Monday that comes and waste away at more than 8 hours of my life there everyday. To everyone out there, hey if you really can't stand where you're at right now, you have to be the change you want to see. If you have financial problems, then find some work before you quit or save up. If you have family/relationship stopping you, then at least try out for the interviews and see if you can get flexible hours or a closer workplace. If you don't put the effort to commit, nothing will change and you will continue staying there until someone else pushes you away. It's your life, control it and take hold of the reins. Don't let someone else control you. We only get one shot at this life. Sure it's scary out there and there will be people angry and dissappointed at you. But you know what, if you don't do anything, nothing will change.

2019, I still watch this short film. It is still touching and inspiring. To Mr. Jinnyboy please make some of this video again or some sort of it.

One good video from Jinny both that worth to like, after studying and working in Malaysia I noticed there are so many managers like what illustrated here and this is very unfortunate while there are some great people in Malaysia but need to deal with such companies and managers. I did the same thing even I did not have visa, but I resigned to pursue my dreams coz I was tired of being treated like that, even a simple please at the end of sentences makes you feel a bit better. Support of the god be with all the dreamers and try hard. Malaysia will remain as a big part of my life.

Thank you for making such an inspiring video. This video actually reminded me of when I just graduated and had to look for a job. I tried out something I thought I "liked" but turns out wasn't and was really bad at it. Things got really bad at work and it felt like hell for me. I resigned after only 2 weeks of work and my bosses tried to talk it out and told me I'd keep a bad record here. I still left in the end despite whatever they said to keep me going for the sake of keeping my name clean. After I left, I felt lost because I didn't know what I wanted anymore. I ended up applying for a job that I thought might fit me but I had 0% experience, skills nor knowledge in that field. Turns out that I now love doing what I'm doing after trying something new. Anyways would just encourage the fresh grads out there that it's not gonna be the end of your world if you suddenly figure out that what you thought you "liked" didn't work out for you. Go out there and try something new, challenge yourself and eventually you'll find out what you're truly good at doing. And you'll start liking what you do when you're really good at it 😊 cheers xoxo

This is a very meaningful video. I actually shared it with my 2 teenage daughters. We can never be sure of our future. There is no assurance that we'll have lots of money and comfortable. However, we owe it to ourselves to pursue what we have in our hearts and never settle for less. Even if we failed, we have tried but even failure itself is delayed success. I like my children to follow their hearts as how their old man did 😊

Sad seeing that a lot of people leaving comments saying they don't have the luxury to persuade their dreams in reality. Cmon, all you need is taking the courage and move the little step forward. I was born in a moderate family where my dad had to work hard just to sustain my family. But I never gave up on what I passionate about and choose to volunteer full time for 2 years in a NGO and living a year overseas without proper job. It wasn't easy at all but thanks to that experiences I really got the chance to travel around the world. I am having a good life now and clear with my life purpose. Somehow, all it takes is a risk to reach a better life. We may regret on what we have done but certainly we will regret on what we never do. Be brave!!!

This is exactly the same feeling i had after i left my last job/business. The feeling of freedom and happiness. It feels great to be able to make decision for myself and be responsible for it. I am not giving up and i am sure my dream will come true! This feels like the story of my life!! I have been told a lot that I have a good singing voice, joined many church choirs as a tenor as well. I play the guitar too. But when it was my time to seek a future of my own and I expressed my desires I was shot down by my caring parents who were only looking out for my best interest which resulted in me completing a degree in Mass communications with a major in public relations and then venturing into my HR career for the last 10 years now. After all that time, I find myself back at square one with hopes and dreams of pursuing my dreams of becoming an artist for the love of music and for the sheer happiness it gives me and all others. I am a big fan of #TheVoice #Britain'sGotTalent #Australia'sGotTalent #America'sGotTalent and I am looking for my big break to be given then opportunity to sing for everyone. It really hits hard to your soul when you know you were meant for something else and you are not able to pursue it. Many times it overwhelms and you break down in defeat. But as the video suggest I shall no longer settle and I am going to try and try until I make it happen. #NeverGiveUpOnYourDreams

Idzuan Idris It’s a lot better than how i quit my stressful job...but my father whose a serious Buisness pro with LOTS of letter writing experience taught e this, so I’m not sure if you care, but ill share just in case you do- i would LEAVE OUT the negative aspects where you criticize whomever for not changing the situation through your talks- as in delete the second to last paragraph and just stick with the I’m sorrys ! TRUST ME! It’ll go over so much better and leave out the bit about not expecting any reference letter- because you NEVER KNOW, and don’t want to proverbially shoot yourself in the foot with a single sentence. I’m not trying to be nosey, the rest WAS TOP-NOTCH! Especially the apology about not finishing your expected work- and always end with a “thank you” possibly for the experiences you gained and how you value them and are grateful for that! Always best to end on a positive note! And... I’ll say “youre welcome?” in response to your last sentence! Hope this helps and GOOD LUCK! 👍🍀 ❤️

Yeah, don't settle. Go and live your life to the fullest. I've just began to sing in front of the crowds recently and I feel so happy and excited by doing it. I'm not really confident in my voice until random strangers and friends complimented on it. Now I can confidently sing on the stage. I just hate to wonder "what if" and ended up living life with full of regrets. :)
