[Never seen before!] AIR POWERED SAW Restoration! (Homemade)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is a one of a kind Homemade Air powered circular saw. It was found at a local auction and I thought out would be a great Restoration project for the channel. If you watch until the very end of the video you will see the saw running and tested.

For a homemade tool it sure is well thought out. Everything just fits together like it was meant to be. Cool find and well done on the restoration. Skilsaw frame,.... Black & Decker tool with a Dewalt blade...........EPIC!!!!!

Thing cuts like butter
Used in wet environments like Seattle, where rain days are a given....kinda noisy but far better than dealing with electric tools in the rain...plus electric tools get TRASHED in rainy conditions…these are like auto - mechanic tools, rugged as heck... being homemade explains the simple design… I like it!! Purpose built professional air tools for construction are expensive!
Looks like your training for your next boxing match. Love the tool. Never seen anything like that.

Loved this refurb. Being a retired carpenter I've never seen one of those. Probably used in a factory for production work. Very cool.

Very nicely done. And can I give you a tip for gasket making. Put the material over the part and use the round side of a small ball peen hammer to cut around the edges.

This was a homemade deal I got from an auction. Someone put some work into it!
Aside from going overboard with the grease, that was nice. Also, I probably would have added some washers in places, but that's just me. Really unique frankensaw! Edit: Also, it sounds much quieter than a (corded) circ saw. Is it just as powerful? I guess that would be the question. Anyway, really cool!

Was this in production? or is it a one off custom. I have never seen air circular saw & definitely not Skillsaw. I have been using skillsaw since the 1980's.

I’m sure it was a custom build. Thanks for asking!
Thought you would’ve put a new Bearing in that one sounded a bit rough 👍

I want it so bad it looks like it will outlast my milwaukee m18 battery circ saw.

lol air powered tools don’t need recharged
Cool video. Just stop with the dumb antics like finger walking and hopping paper towels..etc. It’s demeaning to us the audience. Also surprised you didn’t replaced the bearings. Why not hole punch the gaskets to look cleaner instead of just pushing a sharp object through it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The antics are part of the entertainment element of the video. It helps with captivating the audience. Many, many youtube restoration channels due it. It's funny and makes people chuckle.
