What someone would “like to pay” isn’t their budget. You’ve got to try and figure out someone’s budget without asking directly. If you’ve narrowed it down to one item and it’s not within their feasible budget then you made mistakes along the way. Sometimes, you can ask at the start before narrowing down. But not at the price negotiation.

What???!!! You just made a sale for $90 grand! Take the win! If you set a price - and it is a price that is worth the customer’s investment - then it is understandable that they should pay full price, because it comes with all the bells and whistles. But if you’re selling something worth $70K and you’re charging $100K - then make the sale for $90K. Don’t get greedy. One sale made is better than no sale made. And if you can’t compromise, then be upfront about that point, a sale is a conversation between two people - not an argument between the stingy and the greedy, nor is it a lecture of the salesman talking at the customer. Don’t over complicate things.

Car sales don't even get a cut of profit anymore. They get paid on revenue. Move the shit. Time=money. Unless I'm getting a cut of the profit, idgaf about profit, only revenue. All these dealers are wall street owned now so the skill and hustle is gone. They think just having a car means they're better than the rest now. They all coop to price fix the markets and it's not working anymore. 💀

Buddy. It’s the same vice versa. There’s a reason why the usual consumer doesn’t give a fuck if an amateur salesman is a pushover. They’re looking out for themselves too. The way I perceive sales is everything is conditional. Nobody’s perfect. The salesman isn’t perfect, neither is the consumer. In business, your job is to sell yourself and discover the necessary conditions it takes to get the sale done.

I should do videos on how to buy a car. We the consumers have the power not the seller. Do not put yourself in a situation where you have to have something. Know what you’re willing to pay and let them know to call if and when they can make it happen. Until then we’re wasting each others time. Salesman rely on suckers. I just got a 2024 Tacoma for 8k back of msrp. They have inventory they need to sell. I didn’t need to buy anything. I wanted to and if they could make it happen I would. Always shop multiple dealerships in a metro area. The dealers compete for allocation. The more vehicles they sell the more the manufacturer gives them. The more vehicles they have the better the chance to find the suckers. But they’re willing to make deals. Don’t be a sucker. Took a week working with multiple dealerships to get the deal I wanted and after I got it. Everyone else was willing to match it. Too late I play a game but not that one. Have fun with your next auto purchase and remember you have the power not the dealership.
@connorcriscitelli711
19 күн бұрын
So you do understand if every dealership sold $8k under MSRP you would never have a dealership to go to again because they would all go out of business. There is no such thing in the dealership world of $8k+ in gross anymore. Most vehicles have anywhere from $2k to $5k in gross in a vehicle. What you really did was have a salesmen work for you for free which is pretty awful. Meet in the middle and understand that salesmen need to earn a living too. If you didn’t NEED the vehicle don’t screw over a hard working person.
@Jeff-ri1ng
17 күн бұрын
@@connorcriscitelli711 all salesman get a minimum on any deal they work. You don’t understand how change happens tho. If everyone says no then the market has to shift for the consumers. The owner of the dealership doesn’t get to buy his 3rd vacation home. The ceo of the manufacturer doesn’t get to make 50 million annual. I think the market would fair just fine. Crazy to think you’re so brainwashed to prop up the rich on your back. Gluck in life with whatever you’re doing. If you’ve narrowed it down to one item and it’s not within their feasible budget then you made mistakes along the way. Sometimes, you can ask at the start before narrowing down. But not at the price negotiation.

Coming from a dude. When he surprised his mrs with a sports car and she said im busy. Good deal 😂😂😂😂
99 is the best price for the dealer not for the customer. Haggle, if not then pass!
99 is the sales price...of course your gonna haggle lower than 99.

Is he a sales coach or cross fit trainer? “Dog sh**! Now give me 20 burpees”
In this scenario…bro, my best price up until you walked in had always been 101k. I’m sorry I played the 99 as something unreasonable. I don’t know what kind of number goals my boss is under but I also don’t want to ruin a killer deal by exposing the loss. What if I told you I’d personally deliver this vehicle when your wife is home so she sees you getting the personalized experience you’ve been missing. And I will even teach her how to back that boat up like a pro…extend pen
When I was green in the business my first GSM told me NEVER let them say how much they want first. Once you ask what they want and they say a number, it becomes fact.

I would’ve said well sir 90k is extremely low for this premium car but what I can do for you is go talk to my manager and see if we get you a better price, now I can’t guarantee you it’ll be 90 but I’ll try to get it as close as possible fair enough? Andy, could touch on a time share sales? I sell time share and for a very credible company, we do everything by the book and with compliance, however, I can’t seem to elevate myself from the $250k/ mark… i have the ability to make more, but im steady at $250k/yr and can’t break that
Can’t figure out why his shorts are so tight
That’s too much for a vehicle
Look up the value of the car you want. Cut it by 20% when you find that value. Walk in and tell them that’s what you’ll pay. If they say no, go to the next place. There’s no shortage of cars or dealerships. Offer the price you want to 100 dealerships then wait. Most will call you back within a few days.

Sales is like a scam. You have to read the person and basically battle against them to get them at a certain price or talk them into something. Your trying to convince someone to do a deal for the sake of you and the sake of closing not the sake of the best interest of the customers some do most don’t

@Jeff-ri1ng

I’m going to enjoy my new truck and camper and hang in the mountains of Colorado for the summer.

The prices are marked up so you can fight them down and feel like you got a good deal. The sales people know the limit that's why they accept it
I love what this dude is doing, ultimately helping salesman make more money. However, I also see the other side. He's helping make it more expensive for the average person to purchase something like a vehicle.
