I love how this isn’t just a “quick fix” or “try this simple trick” kind of video. It’s great advice, but it’s also life advice: Get good sleep, avoid your phone first thing in the morning, don’t drown yourself in dopamine, be in nature, literally just improve yourself and that will help your interactions with people. Love this!

That "I just met her" shit at the start, was dope. Kudos to you bro. One thing I noticed when it comes to me chatting girls up is the less I'm "goal oriented" as in determined to acquire their for example digits or their fancy no matter what, and figuring out what I have to say in order to get that, the more smooth I am because I genuinely don't care what happens. If I approach the whole situation with "if I get it I got it, if not, fuck it" attitude, the chances of me actually getting what I want skyrocket

Yes, this. It helps. My issue is focusing on what I want until the other person says no. I can converse no problem but it gets tiring after an hour. I noticed this happened a few times recently. My go-to is what do you do in your free time? Who do you know here? Comment something they're wearing. I have been lower energy lately which I think could also be throwing convos down. I know I'm confident but yeah, i get tired lol

Great point. I've noticed this personally as well. Just like sports or anything else, if you focus on the process instead of the outcome, you will perform better. In this case, that would mean just enjoying the process of talking to her and not making it feel like life or death. That will lead to being more relaxed and acting like yourself.

It's not just the dopamine stuff. It's people aren't used to talking irl anymore and only see screen based lives and for anxious people it makes irl socializing scary. A lot of women are also afraid to be approached these days by men . They often associate it with the wrong ideas and being pushed into things they're not comfortable about. And for young guys it's also scary cos then they feel like they shouldn't have tried and should have stayed away

I think for every girl that doesn’t want to be approached there are 10 that do . Just be sensible with how and where you approach - for instance, don’t run up to a woman in a parking lot at night and try to talk to her

This right here! Out of all these videos out there on self improvement and holding a conversation, this is the one which really got to me. Everything makes sense now, all of a sudden Looking at other people talking so effortlessly made me wonder how do they do it and no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't. But now, after watching this video, I have come to realize that these people are most likely nowhere near as exposed to bad shit as much as I am. Yes, I do go to the gym for a while now, but apart from that, I haven't really made the effort to limit my screen time. My brain needs to make that shift and it won't be an easy task. I really appreciate you making this video, especially because it's not just talking about the topic, but demonstrating it as well. You just earned yourself a new subscriber! I'll definitely look into some more of your content and will be looking forward to see more! Cheers 🙌

Jack bro I always love u, i wanna add something here. Dopamine is one of the smallest sideline reason for being not good at talking in my opinion. Mostly it is the energy that we guys carry which hampers the mind. And in my life this social media has very less impact and I am pretty active in real life. But I also felt emptiness while talking to girls. Biggest reason is the fear of reaction and rejection, being desperate give her very exploiting vibe, and trying to be perfect has got all our energy. We can use few emotions, like fun, friendliness, human to human conversation, creating man to woman vibe, or just addressing the girl while expressing the self.. We can use these mindsets to perform better, otherwise we might fall for fear and presumptions and go blank.

I feel like this revolves around being present in the moment. Some people don't understand what it mean to be truly present in the real world. Being present isnt when you're conscious of where you are and aren't spacing out per se, its when you notice the things happening around you. I've noticed that when I'm on my phone, or am listening to music in my headphones, these things become irrelevant. Mix that in with the fact I listen to music pretty much 24/7 when i'm in public by myself and I automatically stop being present. I'm trying to become more present, and more in touch with reality. I've been going to the gym, and now I plan to try to slowly cut out social media from my life. I think this video may genuinely affect me, Denmo says this in an unfiltered way which makes you straight up realize that its your own fault that you cant socialise, its time to start experimenting, practising and learning. Sure, its embarrassing, but ts far more embarrassing to stay this way for years and eventually regret it.

On point: Being confident in oneself can be attractive to many people. But also: Having a good sense of humor and being able to make others laugh can be attractive. Being kind, understanding and empathetic can be attractive qualities in a partner. Being intelligent and well-informed can be attractive to some people. Some people may find physical appearance, such as being fit or having a certain style, to be attractive. Being open to new experiences and having a sense of adventure can be attractive to some people. Being able to provide financial stability and security can be attractive to some people. Having ambition and drive to achieve goals can be attractive. Being emotionally mature and able to handle and express emotions in a healthy way can be attractive. Being dependable and trustworthy can be attractive. Attraction is a complex and personal thing and what one person find attractive may differ from another person.

When I meet folks, I tend to start the conversation by bringing up something that relates to them (i.e: your longboard example at the beginning), then carry it from there. IF the conversation is slow and boring, then I have concluded that the person I'm talking to isn't providing enough to contain a conversation - a signal that usually means they're not interested. Otherwise, if the conversation just seems to flow, and both parties carry each other's weight, then I definitely try to make that move. Just some of my own personal advice from over the years.

I agree I read up on interesting facts to tell people better then what do you do for work or where are you from. Like saying I was in a town where big crocodiles dont eat people and children even sit om them, this is a true and occurs in 2 places in the world, because those wild crocodiles were born where people feed them for centuries so the they dont see people as food, look it up on Google you will see. Doesnt matter if I really was there, can just later say I made it up I was there and it makes for a good story. Better then saying where are you from or what work do you do.

@@rinreborn7364 What feels weird the crocodiles not eating people, you can Google pictures of children sitting on top of and playing with big crocodiles or do you mean it feels weird to make stories up to tell to girls in bars and clubs. In the last case girls who work or go to school all week dont want to have boring conversations at a bar going out. They want have fun and laugh, so if you make up a funny story you can always say later you had to much to drink and was just talking b.s. . My friend is a pick-up artist and would tell hot girls he was a painter selling his paintings all over the world and he told them I was his manager. They didnt know if he was serious or of he was joking, but they called us the craziest guys they met all night and were having a good time talking to us. When you make up a story you can keep it going a lot longer than with what do you do for work and where do you come from as you can keep making up stuff from the initial made up story like saying we travelled to Australia where we had fun adventures

I was never really good talking to girls, but my friend is a pick up artist who I went out with who taught me stuff. He showed me it is far better to make up fun b.s. stories talking to girls, then do the serious what do you do for work, where are you from questions. He told the girls he was a painter selling his paintings all over the world and told them I was his manager to include me in the conversation. The girls questioned if if he was for reall or full of it, but ran with it asking us questions so we had to make crazy things up, which you can keep going for a longer period of time. He said beautiful girls are bored during the week going to school or working and love crazy things to happen in the weekend at a bar or club, not the serious what do you do for work questions Also told me that is better to pick up girls during the day when they have their bitch shield down and wear less make up, so you can really see how they look in real life. In my country there is a specific big brand supermarket called Albert Heijn and the girls always say they like to meet their future husband in the freezing section of Albert Heijn, so it seems they think it is more special to to be picked up during the day at a shop then at night at bars, also no competiton from other guys during daytime. Maybe you can talk about that Jack daytime pick up verses in bars and clubs. One girl told me I didnt have the bar pick up talk and would not have kissed me when she would have met me in the bar, because of it. I met her during the day at a group activity and she kissed me after talking about mutual interests, no pick up from my side whatsoever. I didnt even think of picking her up as she looked like the sister of Cameron Diaz and I tought she was way out of my league. She said in a bar without the pickup talk she said I wouldnt have had a chance with her, because the pick up guys make her feel a special way.

To anyone who's watching this more than casually, if this doesn't come natural or isn't coming at all you probably have an underlying disorder causing anxiety and changing your perception. Girls are just like you, but to understand that you have to know and accept yourself. if you get to the point where you feel like they're something else or scary, fake stuff like this will only create fake awkard relationships at best. To get beyond that you have to address the cause of your issue, why you don't feel confident or comfortable talking to strangers or a girl. Naturally you should have the confidence to talk up any girl that's at least as attractive as you, and talk casually(about something unrelated) to any girl no matter how hot. Having a fear of judgment from girls usually comes from not accepting or being comfortable with yourself. However this is not as simple as how you look or act. A lot of people have literally no idea how they look because we live in such a fake antisocial time, if you have no sense of self you can't interact with other people because you don't see yourself as a person, you don't know how to act twords others, you panic. If you recognize any of this know that it is something you can get over almost instantly, if your brain can be switched from looking outward to inward. You might not know what that feels like but it's how people actually live and love life

But i start to notice that's a stupid way to think, im already brave, and if i nail these things i can surely grow bonds, but when i start to know them i can become myself again because now i feel more confident when i have taken the first step into love or friendship with that person! :D And another thing i worry about is that im scared if they think im creepy or annoying if i approach them like this, but if that happens, they can't sue me, what did i do? say hi?

Some chick customer at my work one day commented on the cool slippers I wear and I thought in my mind it would be cool to tell her it she would look cool wearing them and she could try them and she could try them on..but didn't because I was at work. What are some reasons to believe a stranger is interested in talking to you? Realistically it's something you need to observe after the conversation starts, so on what grounds can you assume they just are interested? These are annoying questions and they're like excuses in a way, but I for instance can't seem to just lie to myself with no logical backing. Of course my assumption is that they're obviously not interested in talking to me, cause that's just what being an atom of the lonely single young men epidemic does to someone. On the other hand if I found out some "objective truth" that would make it seem like people are a little less uninterested in talking to me, that would help.

  • @shuggybacon

Think about this: When someone comes up to you, is your instant thought I want this person to go away I dont want anyone talking to me or is it, I wonder what this person has to say to me? Even if they aren't the most attractive you're still interested in what's going on, because strangers don't come up to you often. Now imagine instead it's a reasonably cute girl. Even if you're on your way to a meeting or something, you'd still probably stop and give her some of your time because this doesn't happen often. I don't think girls get approached by strangers as much as we'd think, so it's interesting for them too.@@mad_scientist5597

Another piece of advice I would give (as a salesman) is to ask questions that keep moving a person towards your desired outcome, people feel obligated to answer questions so even if they start off not wanting to talk you can still talk to them
