Many thanks for this. Very useful. I really like this series. I would appreciate more exercises which show how to get a feeling for timing for Ashi Waza (as far as that is possible without a partner to train with).

Great vids, I subscribed for more, my question is this.... what exercises can I do for neck strength and flexibility. About 3 months ago I got tossed in randori from an Uchi mata and landed funny and got a nasty pinched nerve that instantly shot down my right arm affecting my tricep and my whole arm was on fire. I'm better now and back to normal, but can't help but think of needing an improvement in this area. Thanks

I'd do bridging, shrimping, sprawling, lifting weight, I even make a heavy dummy to do a side control and headlock escape

@@TravisStevensgrapplingthanks for responding! Im 5'4 so maybe some more drills for the shorter judoka ? Maybe some drills for hip throws, drills for hand throws, more drills for sweeps. Weight lifting or calisthetics that can help with throws.

@@TravisStevensgrappling actually sensei I got one for you. I am legally blind. I have rhinitis pigmentosa. Basically I see big blurry blobs. I will eventually go blind completely. My judo sucks. Do you have any advice or tricks for someone who does randori with his eyes closed? Why? So I don't get distracted by not seeing things. Lol

These solo drill videos are great thank you. But if i ever had to list a complaint about your videos, it would have to be audio. I struggle to hear you, must be the dojo setting. Horrible for acoustics. Maybe it's possible to hook up a directional microphone to the camera being used? Seems like a problem with most videos in dojos. Other than that, your channel is the best around thank you very much.
