It's makes you wonder what she was holding over him. I'm sure that he didn't want to go back to a loveless marriage.

I believe ono drugged or hypnotized Lennon that night when he told May Pang he would be back. Ono had some control over him and she used it to trap him. What a crushing blow for May. John had decided to divorce Yoko. John’s biggest weakness was gullibility.

I thought Yoko hypnotized him too..... But because Yoko told John, just before he went back to NY, that she was going to hypnotize him to help him stop smoking. No joke !! 😮😮 May said He went back to Yoko because it was better for his immigration. May pang said this in another interview recently. But, you may have something there .......

I believe May Pang. That’s why it was such an important question, -because John could’ve been hypnotised by the person Yoko hired with the intent to assist with his smoking addiction, but was it hypnotism for more than just a smoking addiction? I think so. May said that John’s face was totally different and that he was under some sort of spell when he came back…

My buddy who is a musician gave me 'Loving John ' way back in the 80,s and i was stunned at some of what i read but i didn't doubt it .

Everyone goes on about Yoko's influence on John,end of the day he was a grown man who could have easily said no to Yoko but he never....

I agree, there was certainly a part of John that matched Yoko’s evil shady ways. May was too good and well-behaved for him.

May is as classy as they come. What could have been. She was good for John. She still has that amazing smile and that quick personality. Glad she is still centered.

She’s definitely a true lady and a great friend. Just as I felt about Cynthia. His first wife] plus she ( May] seemed to have that unaffected ways….even though she was w a famous rock star. Yes! Unlike Yoko, I feel, scarcely smiles(? Plastic surgery perhaps don’t care really) May smiles constantly I feel her spirit is a happy lady who has been through it” But I’m glad she’s not an addict like many who maybe could’ve in her spot. This kind & caring lady had Zero selfish motives & only cared about trying to make John happy > evidenced by her being responsible for reuniting a father with his son, after Julian had been virtually abandoned due to Yoko's years of manipulating John (Narcissist bullying, alienation of effection etc) into having little to no contact with Julian (Yoko's many dark traits bought out the few John had), if only he'd been able to protect himself from her incredibly powerful dominance over him!

John probably would still be alive had he stayed with May Pang! He truly loved her and should have stayed with her in my opinoin! Yoko was such a toxic person, sorry Shawn, but it's the truth!! Yoko was totally in control of John's life. She was a total witch in my opinion! I feel sorry for her son, but that's exactly how I feel. John truly loved May Pang and perhaps he would still be alive - who knows!!!

Yoko was more like a manipulative mom and she had a strong character despite how short she was . She's more like a man and even stronger than John .

This comes on, I Google something online, and it says that John Lennon was taken at this very day. Now I'm crying tears into my hot and sour, chinese take out leftover, bowl of soup. Rest in Peace John Lennon.

an interesting question would be who paid the rent after john went back to yoko. did john feel any feeling about giving her a hand since she obviously lost her job with apple after she went off with him and then was left by him. even though it was a short time they were together, did he assume any financial responsibility for her for a little while until she began to make her own way again. why doensn't someone ask something interesting. john was known to be pretty tight fisted afraid he wealth would on day collapse, little did he know at the time what his music would end up being worth now and exactly how did he end things financially with may. that would have been an interesting question. but who know if she could manage to communicate anything real at all ever with regards to this questiong

I doubt it, he barely looked after his first wife and child financially, I seriously doubt May would have been looked after. One of the reasons Yoko was hesitant to divorce John was she knew she would have been treated the same way as Cynthia, she told one of her friends this.

You can record at its lowest 8 on a 8 track but, many recording studios are 24 tracks 16 track up to 16 separate instruments . I'm sorry to say May Pong ,has it wrong when she states only 8 people can record and having to go into other stufios in order to record the remaining out of 27. In a real mudic studio which I'm assuming May is speaking about there boards are larger than 16 tracks . Also, depending on the producer for the most part its the entire band and the singer / singers always have a track . When recording simultaneously. Mixing consoles yarda,yarda , now each producer is different some will just use a 8 track but, for the most part its either 16 or 24 tracks both are different when pressing . It would take more than one paragraph to explain recording. Loved this interview and love Ms. May Pong . ❤ May this year of the dragon be kind and prosperous to you all .. Peace ✌

Weird that if everyone thought May was good for John that Paul would side with Yoko and play matchmaker. Makes me think that John was right when he accused Paul of sabotaging his songs. I,v always said yoko controlled John he may of been a man & 1 of the most famous but was still very child like & needed a mother. No wonder with his past. Look what she did 2 Julian when they where 2gether & yes John let her but look what she did on Julian when he passed so cruel. She was jealous of a child before she had Sean & treated him like he was no1 when John died. That is 1 thing I,ll never understand how John let that happen especially after his childhood & feeling rejectec. She controlled everything why he let her I'll never know. ⁠@@heyday179 - his interviews on the 6th of Dec with Peebles and 8th Dec 1980 with Playboy were pretty open from him himself. He seemed to sound in a really good place. Unless it was a complete act, which I doubt. Yoko was in another relationship at the time though which must’ve been tough for John to take, but John had his fair share of playing around too. Nothing unusual in the world of celebrity it seems.
