Hello karlton I just want to thank you for your hard work as a Hispanic minority I was programmed a certain way. Which later in my life affected how managed my money, lived my life and the decisions I’ve made. A couple years ago I had the opportunity to focus and open up a business I never really understood what it was when people say “let money work for you don’t work for your money” years later, I hurt myself I close the business and fell into a deep depression. As of this weekend, I came across your videos and a couple others in which you participated in their podcast. So I just wanna give you a big thanks for igniting the thrive and fire in me I relinquished! God bless you my friend! May the Lord bless you with health, wealth and prosperity!

Stumbled onto this video and I was extremely happy to hear this man talk about not giving in to family. My family’s almost ruined me financially when I was in my mid 20’s and they would have done far worse if I had let them. I’ve seen it over and over happening to other smart people. Your family, even if they are nice, well intentioned people, can ruin your life if you let them. Put up those healthy boundaries.

This is wildly inspirational I grew up in a household where money was such a touchy subject. If you brought it up it was always uncomfortable. I decided that with little to no knowledge of financial security to change this cycle. I never want to feel like I can't control my finances ever again. It's not that it's difficult, most of us just are misinformed of money and it's proper usage.

I struggle to follow through especially financially. I earn quite enough but hardly have a saving. Rent, bills, expenses take it all. It almost seems like I live paycheck to paycheck

What can I do if I have a credit card that I don’t want because it has a low but annoying monthly / annual charge but it’s kept because it’s the oldest credit card I own and it helps with credit history on my credit report ??

Some banks will allow you to “upgrade” to another card with a soft pull without affecting your credit history age. Look for another card that the bank institution own that has no annual fee, call the customer service, make sure to mention you are a loyal customer of X amount of years.

I really wish they would have taught about Roth Ira's in school. I started so late that it hurts, however, even just a few years into it, it's been one of the best places to put my extra taxed income. While the average of 15% is good, it's not as good as investing in other places, but the risk is much much lower. It's amazing what $110/week does in a good Roth Ira profile.

I would be against checking your bank account every day. Yes you can check your main accounts but don’t check your investment accounts every day. Studies have shown people that check less make more because they are not trading as much and worried as much
