This is the first sportsperson I hear having Crohn's Disease just like me! I completely understand the troubles you go through during the initial phase of this condition and until you recover it can take quite some time depending on severity.

This guy prevented Australia from winning a series in England. So I hate him (in a sporting sense, not as a person) But I have a grudging respect for him, he made the most valuable single run in the history of the game, there have been players to make centuries and half centuries that mean less than his single run.

Had no idea about the straight arm issues in his early days! Some great research here, here's hoping he goes alright in the Ashes but the rest of the poms fluff their lines.

His personal story may be an inspirational one, but his professional skills are lack-a-day. He is a player in whom England have over invested, thereby denying chances to others. This could be costly in an Ashes year. Leach isn't going to run through an Australian side in any circumstances.
