Matt, I like the Tallnado. Also an Idea: Dig a hole underneath the dam to collect the poop. Pump it out of said hole, and in the houses of architect island, from there pump it back up to the reservoir of the dam. Don't forget to cut of Architect island from the main water supply, first. This should give you a closed loop, no more enviromental disaster, no more fresh water waste on architects, just green, clean, and free energy forever. NRG 4Ewa, like us cool people might call it.

You can select the first and last road you want to upgrade and it upgrades all roads between the two

So basically the power plant uses mail to send out those tasty kilowatts to the customers. As an electrical engineer I have my doubts that this is efficient.

i swear that's exactly the way the internet service works where I used to live. It's not even a small city (about 100.000 people), the worst internet service I've ever seen! Worst thing about it? a small village (1000 people) just outside town has way better internet service, like 100x faster! 😂😂

The power plant actually only uses mail to send electricity to its customers that are off the grid. 😜

9:21 you can hold down the mouse button when replacing, and drag it to the other end of the road where you want to replace and it will replace all the connected roads in between

"We can't make the road wider or it will impact the pylons." - Builds a road there anyway to turn off the highway. Also, if you have roads and you want to upgrade them in one go, you can just hold your mousebutton and draw over the start and the end of the road and the game fills in in between.

yes, if you slow down the speed of the cars you do reduce traffic, but that does not mean that you reduce the time people take to go somewhere or that they use less gas. all it does is hide the problem on paper.

The mail problem comes from anything that delivers mail into or out of the city like airports and trains. If you delete and replace them then the mail issue will be sorted. DO NOT upgrade the shipping stuff. Unless they've updated the issue.

@Real Civil Engineer: Just for your pleasure. Powerlines have throughput capacity, which is limited. You Windturbines are surely at full capacity, as well as some other stuff. Just click on the top left button, select the power view. Then hover over a power cable, it will show you the max capacity, as well as the actual capacity taken. Just bothering me a while in Engitopia.

Make sure you add post offices as well as mail boxes so the system can work.

just a couple quick tips for you : First tip : you can upgrade more than one road at a time. just hold your left click while hovering over the roads you want to upgrade. Second tip : when you're zoning press "i" and you'll see where you are zoning better ;)

Pretty sure I drove on that highwaynado. Started in Finland and ended up in Alabama.

I dont remember if Matt dig the dirty that he use to fill the dam zone? Because if it's close the surface like he done when he create it to fill the dam quicker, that probably the reason why it's already overflowing. Just digging it down would probably save the problem for later XD

You dont have to replace roads bit by bit, click and hold on a road and drag ur mouse to the end of that road

Mat needs to make a poo canal, I am sure you can make a fun name from something like "Gowanus Canal" and run a poo river along side the river

My favorite of all time is at a combo kfc Taco Bell is half Baja blast half sweet lightning. But it’s only really available at the combo restaurants. But a more easily accessible one is 1/3 sprite 1/3 blue Powerade 1/3 mello yellow. I call it the Shrek drink

I'd say the engineers have nothing to do with that. When you have poor road maintenance it's politics (they won't give money to repair the road correctly but just doing the bare minimum to cover the pothole) There have been cases of engineers writing reports such as "this bridge needs to be repaired asap otherwise it will fall down", politics decided to do nothing about it, the bridge falls down, politics finds someone to take the blame for it. If you want to guess the country I'm talking about, it's in Europe, but i reckon the same applies more or less all over the world

@@aliceitc8380 For me it is still in EU also.. but we have 1 bridge-ish highway mid second biggest city (I think...) that is reworked every year same parts, it is in great shape.. but it is still redone every year.. so we have NEVER seen a year without traffic jams and bullshit situations just because noone is planning properly.. now they are making it bigger (now 2x2 lanes.. should be 3x3 in next 5-10years lol..) so now we are in pure pain again for YEARS... I'm working next to it so getting from job can get quite problematic sometimes...
